Wrong Way Up

Wrong Way Up

This is my story of how my life fell apart. I want to warn you that there are acts of violence in this story that may trigger some readers. This story contains acts of domestic abuse, and memories of sexual assault. This is not an easy story to read, and I caution all who do read it that there may be moments that will haunt you, I know because they haunt me to this day. Another warning this story contains tales of addiction, again something that may be a trigger to some readers. My final warning to you is that this story includes mental health issues. Although this may not be considered a trigger, I want to make sure that you know exactly what kind of ride you are in for by reading my story.

There's a phrase, right in the initial chapters, where Noel says she is not old, but is too old to start again. That really got to me, because even now we are taught that. We need more diversity in our female characters, so thanks for writing this.

I absolutely love this book, It has so much depth and it's not all sunshine and roses which makes It that much more real. Hoping it will be finished soon! And if it's by any chance based on a true story, Noel is strong and amazing and worthy of love and happiness, hope she never believes otherwise!

Lustful Eyes

Lustful Eyes

Emma hated violence, and she had never read a book detailing such raw brutality. But this wasn't just a mere book. Someone had written it—like a twisted, violent diary. She desperately wanted to believe that it was just a random story, but if it was just normal fiction, why was she so incredibly drawn to it? What was so odd and magnetic about that black book?

Reckless Royals of Nocturne Prep

Reckless Royals of Nocturne Prep

LUCA This scene includes physical abuse, homophobia, emotional trauma, internalized shame, and psychological repression. It portrays childhood violence and familial manipulation, as well as a non-consensual outing that results in fear and long-term trauma. Readers sensitive to themes of sexual identity repression or abusive parental behavior should approach with care. I was drowning. Not in water, but in memory.

Capturing Viola: His Wife Is Mine

Capturing Viola: His Wife Is Mine

she says, flipping a page in the annotated copy beside her, “where the main character says, ‘I used to think love was supposed to hurt. Now I know it’s supposed to heal.’” I nod. Chelsea looks up. “Were you really in an abusive relationship, Viola? Or it was just a ploy to make your book popular.” The question slices through the room like cold air. I shift in my seat. My throat tightens. The silence isn’t long, but it’s loud. “Yes,” I say finally. “I was.” It hangs there, raw and awful. “I didn’t always realize it,” I continue, voice quieter now. “It wasn’t just bruises or yelling. It was the little things. The control. The isolation. The way I stopped recognizing myself in the mirror.”

The Family Books 1 -3 (A collection of Dark Mafia Romance)

The Family Books 1 -3 (A collection of Dark Mafia Romance)

Storming over to the bed. “Someone hurt you,” I didn’t care if she had pushed me. What I did care about was finding out the truth. Nothing like this had come up in any of the checks I had run on her but then that wasn’t surprising. Most victims of abuse didn’t come forward. The crimes against them went unpunished Unless of course I found out about them. Or Gio did or the men in the Savage Sons. We were bad men, all of us but sometimes just sometimes we did bad things to punish even worse men.

Be my Alpha

Be my Alpha

I say hesitantly and there's a long pause between us "I once read a book where a woman abducted her Madam and two rapists after escaping sex trafficking. She of course tortured them in some of the same ways they did her, and killed one while her boyfriend and friend killed the other two. I clung onto the satisfaction I imagined she felt as she watched them all die in front of her. I told myself I didn't really get to enjoy the deaths of the other two, and that once I found Horace, I would get my closure." "And did you?" I say

I really loved this book. Kudos to author K.C Rae for sharing her amazing talent with us. I'm looking forward to the second book in this series, and I'm hoping that there will be even more after that one.

loved this story! I can't wait to for part 2! For those unsure of reading because it's not complete, it ties up all loose ends except one before it ends. It won't leave you feeling like you wasted your time like most.

The Second Wife's Revenge

The Second Wife's Revenge

Left the following week. A woman in Glasgow. Her letter was translated by the publisher's international team. She'd read the UK edition. She wrote that she'd thought she was alone because her abuse looked nothing like the dramatic version. Too quiet. Too polite. Too invisible. The book named the quiet version. She found help. A man in Chicago. His daughter had been in an abusive relationship for three years. He hadn't known how to talk to her about it. Gave her the book instead. She called him the next day. They were working on it together.
