There were chapters about mind links, healing powers, even wolves that could talk to animals… but not a single word about silver fire. Or glowing fingers. Or dreams about strange women with snow-white hair. I let out a long breath, the kind that made your shoulders sag. I felt tired. Like the answers I wanted were still too far away.

Most of the pack still looked at me like I didn't belong there. But I was that desperate. The room was small and dusty. Shelves lined the walls, filled with old books and rolled-up papers. Everything smelled like leather and age. I started pulling books down, looking for anything about werewolves. About shifting. About why mine kept stopping halfway. The first few books were about pack law and territory disputes. Boring stuff that didn't help. But then I found ones about bloodlines. About different types of wolves. I read about Feral-Bloods like Axel. About Nightborns and Runebinders. About Pureblood Alphas.

Huge is an understatement of how the library looks. “You're cute.” Billie says, looking at me softly. I ignore her and run to the first section of books. Recently, I've been working on a book named, 'Desire for thirst' in which werewolves attack their prey when they are in rut. My work in this genre has been gaining more exposure because I've made it very clear that I don't like werewolves. I believe people can read this as a novel but in reality the author just wants to expose their readers to the monsters they see in other worlds.

Like even now, the golden wolf is like their Alpha.” He explains and I take the book to read over it.
