The Queen's Knight

The Queen's Knight

"That is understood, Princess. Your brother will guide you, and the senior members of the council. You shall be tutored in every state, protocol and diplomacy. I breathed out gradually, with relief and anxiety. Training would be well, but the experience that danger might fall at any moment still caused my breast to contract. When the meeting was over Rowan took me back to the royal hall, and touched me in the small of the back with his hand, showing that he supported me. The rays of the sun penetrating through the stained-glass windows caught the gold embroidery on his robe and made him appear taller and more commanding than I had recalled. I guess you want to know about the knight, he said,

CEO EX-HUSBAND REGRET

CEO EX-HUSBAND REGRET

The kids snuggled in closer as they waited for me to begin. "Alright, you three," I said softly. "How about a story about a brave knight who had to save a village from a terrible storm?" I paused for effect, seeing their eyes widen in anticipation. “A knight!” Tyler whispered in awe. “Shh, quiet now,” I smiled, holding up a finger to my lips. “Once upon a time, in a village tucked away beneath the tallest mountains, there lived a knight named Sir Cedric. He was known throughout the land not just for his strength, but for his kindness and bravery. One day, a terrible storm came, one like no one they had ever seen before. It roared through the trees and shook the earth beneath their feet…”

THE CURSED ONE

THE CURSED ONE

Each swing of their swords passed through the air with eerie precision, and though they looked solid, their movements had weightlessness of ghosts. Damian roared as one struck him across the shoulder. He retaliated with a dagger, but it passed through the knight as though through mist. “What the—?” He snarled, staggering back. “Damian!” Laura shouted. He turned toward her, his face bloodied, his eyes wide with relief and confusion. “Laura?” Hope clung to her, the crystal glowing brightly at the sight of him. Then Laura froze, the faces of the knights were hollowed, ethereal and trapped between worlds. They weren’t living men at all.

The Alpha Queen's Knight

The Alpha Queen's Knight

“Glennwood? I have never known anyone by that name. And you say I killed this man? I think you must have the wrong person. I’m sorry for your loss, uhh… sir. But can you tell me more?” The man’s eyes narrowed. “I don’t believe you.” Still barring the way in front of me, Cillium began to snarl. I laid a hand on my young knight's shoulder, quieting him. I could feel the tension within him with or without his ability. I felt the same. *Do we attack, Alpha?* Surry’s voice came from behind us.

The Knights Revenge

The Knights Revenge

Some books had the history of the Knights, dating back centuries. Others told about different creatures, how they lived, drawings of how they looked, and about how they functioned. Unfortunately, many of them also told about how to kill them, which I didn't really like but I understood how the information must’ve been useful back when you needed to defend yourself from them. We’re protected now, the borders and the guards as well as having emerged into human society. I dragged my hands over a few dusty books and sighed. I didn’t even know where to begin. Which shelf? Color? Which of the hundred books would tell me what I needed to know?

Mr. Knight (Forbidden Love Endures)

Mr. Knight (Forbidden Love Endures)

Brandon Knight had lost his genuine concern for other people. His so-called pals were OK, but he was well aware that none of them would be really concerned if he vanished from the face of the world. His father didn't care about him or know anything about him, his mother abandoned him, his uncle abused him, and his aunt kicked him out of the house. He would occasionally throw himself pity parties and go through periods of self-destruction. He and Kevin would get so inebriated that they would start hitting on guys in bars. He would use bricks to smash the windshields of people's cars as they drove by. He'd challenge anyone to have a fuck with him. Possibly, if some jerk had enough balls, someo

A Squire's Journey

A Squire's Journey

But no, the minds of these future knights are so determined that a mere draught is unable to make them feel tired. But they have every right to be so. For the following official who arrived at Tarwood, he rode in a terrible yet mighty steed and wore crooked armor; this knight had seen more battle than most men. He declared himself to be Sir Dustan Wergian and had come to test the two of them. George, seeing Sir Wergian, immediately fell to his knees and began praying for the boys’ safety. The Wergian knights are one of the physically imposing families in the realm. Their family tree has only two career options: knights or executioners. Both of them do very well.

“The Greene Knight?” “It’s a story about King Arthur’s nephew, Sir Gawain, taking a quest to confront an emerald-skinned giant who appears in Camelot called the Green Knight. The Green Knight is a tester of men,” he narrowed his eyes, “a challenger.” “Am I supposed to be the giant green challenger in this scenario?” “It's rather appropriate for your eyes and personality, but you could be the seductive succubus that tries to sway him throughout the journey.” I laughed as I repeated the word, “Succubus.”

Knight and the Modern Damsel

Nighttime and drowned in his world the gaint didn't realize a small figure running through the dark, from the opposite side of the alley, right towards him. ~ BAM~ The phone went down on the street with a loud clank sound, which was once in the hands of the gaint just mere seconds ago. The clash between that small figure and gaint caused both of them to fall hard to the ground. "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL... "

A Knight for Victory

A Knight for Victory

Media, proving to show just how little Arthur knows of her. Henry Winkler once said, assumptions are the termites of relationships. Be careful Arthur, your fairytale castle maybe crumbling as we speak. While the Knights were enjoying the scrumptious Italian food that were spread out on their dining table, on the other side of the city, Victory was bawling her eyes out. She was also celebrating the custody hearing results, in the form of a pity party.

Great book and storyline. Written well would have given it five stars but there was no ending. It appears as if the author wants to add a sequel but this is a poor way of doing it and I will not be looking at more from this author. Such a shame because the writing is done well.

Hi everyone! This is my first book with GoodNovel and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. I’m almost half way through with writing the book as I don’t intend to write a long-winded novel. Let me know what you think of the book. Happy reading! xx F. A. R.
