Gianna sighed as she sat through another meeting that her cousin Keres, excuse me, King Keres was holding. Ever since Keres took his father, King Victor’s, place last month after his very unexpected death, Keres had been forcing her to come to these meetings where he was basically trying to undo everything that her parents and uncle had worked so hard to put in place.

" My hand fisted at my side and then punched the nearest wall in frustration. Everything felt like it was crashing around me. I gesture to Ogi to wipe his lips, but instead, I get McKenzies attention. "Oh my god. Why is King with purple lips?" She screams. I can sense all eyes on me. "Awesomesauce..." I say. RAJVARDHAN POV "I will burn you alive" I hissed in a very low voice as his suggestion was totally absurd. "Something more painful," The king said roaring in his voice with the seriousness behind his tone and the deadly eyes. "More painful?" I looked at him instantly, What he wanted else for such a delicate fairy angel. If she would be pierced in pieces, Butter would come out of them. "Yes, that dancer dared to kill the power of Mahabaleshgarh. I will make sure that she suffers the most painful death,"

She was pissed, and rightfully so, but I couldn’t let her kill my sister. I breathe a sigh of relief when King steps into the room. “Let her go, Sadie,” King tells her softly, warmth and love shining in his eyes. Shockingly enough, Sadie listens. She withdraws her hand without warning, causing Piper to hit the floor. She steps over Piper as if she were nothing but a load of trash. “You’re no fun,” she tells him, pouting. King just sniggers before grabbing her hand. “Come on, Aspen is waiting for us so we can have breakfast together.”

She stumbled, and for a moment, I extended my hand to catch her, but stopped myself. "Listen to me, you, human slut. You are nothing to King Ronan but a deal. I'm his mate, and his love. So, if you have any intentions of seducing him, forget it, am I clear!" Sadie barked. Josie took steps away from us, almost scared but trying to be brave.
