My blood ran cold and I could feel mera stand on her haunches too, readying for whatever was next. I couldn’t stay hidden any longer. Mera roared within me, furious at the thought of the woman stuff because of us. Ignoring the weakness in my limbs, I bury out of the hallow, a feral growl ripping itself from my throat. The rogues turned, their eye widening I surprised as I dashed towards them. Mera quickly took over, her fury lending me strength. We jumped on the first rogue, our claws digging in lot his chest as I drove him to the ground. He let out a strangled cry before I ripped his throat out, his blood coating the forest grounds.

A rogue—tall, scarred, with eyes that gleamed red in the flickering light—emerged from the haze. I shifted mid-stride, bones snapping, muscles tearing, the pain as sharp and familiar as breathing. Erebus exploded from within me, claws raking the floor as he launched himself forward with a howl of pure rage. The rogue didn’t stand a chance.

The rogue shakes its head and still doesn’t shift, whining, morosely, as it continues to cower. I follow the aqua thread that is connected to the rogue and quickly breech its mind. A feral wolf loomed over him, claws dripping with blood that wasn’t its own. Something inside me snapped at the sight of it. Suddenly, my body wasn’t mine again. It was ruled by chaos and destruction. An inhuman roar tore from my throat as I lunged at the rogue with anger. He hurt him. He dared to hurt him. He hurt him. I slammed into the rogue with enough force to knock us both off our feet. The rogue flung me off with brute force. Not given enough time to shift, the rogue leaped into the air in my direction and I rolled off, grabbing my dagger and rammed it into his head.

He was at that point when the other rogue attacked him. However, Trixie saw it and before the rogue could land into Drew, Trixie’s wolf already kicked it hard making it flew and then landed on the ground with a loud thud. The rogue attacked back raging with anger that it immediately overpowered Trixie. When Drew saw that Trixie’s neck was about to be bitten by the rogue, his blood automatically reached his head with wrath like that of a raging storm. Drew’s wolf jumped into the rogue and sunk his fang mercilessly to its neck.

I just massacred all these rogues in one sitting. Suddenly, I saw two rogues that were hiding running towards me with a bow and arrow. The arrowhead is silver. I can see it. But I don’t have the strength to move. Kent sees what’s about to happen and runs over to me to shield me. The arrow hits him in the shoulder and the two rogues are about to pounce on us when from the corner of my eye, I see a warrior shift and pull the first rogue away while kicking the other in the balls. He literally twists off the head of the first rogue and then another warrior rips out the heart of the second rogue. One rogue quickly struck Zane with his claws while covering Keira and the sight of Zane’s blood splattering on the floor enraged Tyr. He growled at them, feeling his wolf itching to come out, but he was so mad he quickly grabbed the two rogues by their neck and lifted them up in the air. The rogues kicked him hard, making them break loose from him. When they were about to flee, Tyr blocked their way and struck his claws on one of the rogue’s chest, eyes flickered with rage, Tyr mercilessly ripped out his heart. The rogue dropped dead on the floor.
