To bad he would not be able to help me escape, he must be loyal to his Alpha or he would be kicked out of the pack and end up turning rogue. Which meant no leader and other packs kill rogue on sight due to their lawlessness and no loyalty. They are like rodents eating your vegetables in the garden. No one liked rogues. Funny enough that is what I was, my brother and parents. We had to leave our pack behind because of Alpha Keeram, many packs feared him. Unfortunately mine was one of them, my Alpha Jake feared him so much so, that he was going to hand me over like a present. That's why we had no other choice but to go rogue and hide.

Damien bends his head, "I know but I just wasn't prepared for his current state. I apologize for bringing up such a horrible suggestion and thank you Alpha for letting him live even though he had caused damage to our Luna." I look away, I don't know how to respond to that. Yes, I was angry but I didn't think of killing the rogue wolf. One thing that's typical about being a rogue wolf is aggressiveness. Even though he had no intention to harm her, he was bound to attack anything in sight. He wasn't completely over the incident but at least he didn't want the wolf dead.

They don't have the strength that comes from the unity of being in a pack. Wolves are social creatures, and their wolves weaken significantly without that bond to an Alpha. Many rogues are on their own for years before they join other rogues, so they weaken a great deal. However, just because these rogues are weaker, they have the upper hand right now. With just four more to go, I can feel my body becoming sluggish. All my energy sources have been depleted in the last five weeks and I'm just running on pure adrenaline at this point.

Gross, this guy just does not give up. Spinning on my toes, I turn and look the rogue in the eyes. Anger is coursing through me at this point, and I am sure that my eyes are glowing silver. "I told you to get lost," I growl at him. He takes a step back from my growl and he stares at me. "Well, well, well. You don’t smell like a wolf," he says sniffing my hair.

Hunt untied the rope from around my hands and once they were free, I rubbed the red rings around my wrists. "So can I leave?" I stood up and as I tried to move around him to get to the door, he caught my wrist and pulled me back. "I can't let you leave." "Why not?" My voice was laced with annoyance. "Unfortunately I make a lot of decisions but my pack won't like knowing that we have a rogue on our hands and I'm about to let her loose, especially with all the attacks going around. For all we know," Hunt stepped closer. "You could be the wild rogue just trying to talk yourself out of a sticky situation."
