Gambit X Rogue Novels & Stories

"You can try, but don't expect me to just watch. I will crush you to pulp, Hamilton." Cain laughed sarcastically. "Let's see. Let's see who will beg for mercy, Ryder. You picked the wrong opponent." Rogue lifted his chin as a devilish smirk curved in his lips. His dark eyes were dangerously looking at Cain as if he could already see the pit of hell where he would send the latter. Rogue's a ruthless businessman, I know. He won't be so damn successful if he's not good in business. He won't be on top, if he's not manipulative and ruthless.

One lunges up, striking it's claws down Xavier's side, spilling blood on the white snow. "Xavier!" Celeste stumbles against Josh, trying to make her way to her mate. Josh tightens his hold. The second rogue lunges for his other side and Xavier tumbles down. Jared pushes the rogue down only to receive a claw to the ear, slicing the tip of the flesh off. He winces and it gives the rogue the opportunity it needs, pushing Jared back down into the snow and snarling above him. The rogue that was thrown by Jacob catches itself and runs forward, barelling into Jacob who falls back against a tree with a whine.

The weird part is that these rogues are hard to kill, they are not like the weak rogues. These rogues have the strength of a gamma or delta. I don’t even know what is going on and the attack seems planned. But anyway, the rogues have been dying more than our pack. Even if the attacks are frequent, we are still winning and I am happy about that. I just wish Octavia will come back.

His wolf surged forward, lending his blows a brutal strength that shattered the rogue’s defenses. Liam ducked under the broad rogue’s swipe, his body moving with lightning reflexes. He drove his fist into the rogue’s gut, then another into his ribs. “You don’t touch my family!” he snarled, his eyes blazing with golden light. Graham’s growl was deep and guttural as he tackled the broad rogue alongside Lucas, their combined weight sending him crashing into a stack of crates that splintered under the impact. Meanwhile, Aiden danced around the wiry rogue, each strike precise, measured.

“Before I make you.” The Rogue, however, wasn’t perturbed. He chuckled again, revealing two missing bottom teeth. His sinewy neck, tanned and leathered from days spent in the sun, was covered in faded tattoos. “Oh, really, princess?” he snarled. “Wanna bet?” “Yeah. I’ll bet.” In an instant, we were on each other. But while the Rogue’s movements were erratic and out of balance, I found my feet firmly planted in a fighting stance, my fists raised, my body easily maneuvering around the Rogue’s punches.

“And of course, you don’t want to mark me because you don’t want to take your throne back.” “I don’t know what I want to do yet. I have no support. No army. It’s not that easy.” “What about these rogues Monty spoke about? What is a rogue anyway?” “A rogue is a packless wolf. It’s not that easy. Rogues aren’t warriors. By the time I have them trained and ready for a war, Caspian would know and we’d all be dead. Well, not you and me…we’d only wish we were dead.”

Rogan appeared from the side and pounced on the rogue closest to Nina. “GET YOUR DISGUSTING BEINGS AWAY FROM WHAT IS MINE!!!” Rogan screamed as he attacked the first rogue. All he had to do was send a powerful slash at the rogue with his claws and it flew back a few meters and a terrible gash had appeared on its stomach. It cried out in pain.

To bad he would not be able to help me escape, he must be loyal to his Alpha or he would be kicked out of the pack and end up turning rogue. Which meant no leader and other packs kill rogue on sight due to their lawlessness and no loyalty. They are like rodents eating your vegetables in the garden. No one liked rogues. Funny enough that is what I was, my brother and parents. We had to leave our pack behind because of Alpha Keeram, many packs feared him. Unfortunately mine was one of them, my Alpha Jake feared him so much so, that he was going to hand me over like a present. That's why we had no other choice but to go rogue and hide.
