Fifty Words For Rain の小説・ストーリー

Who wouldn't be glad about that? "Did Mom left some cash for the groceries?" I asked Tessa when I went out five in the afternoon. I'm sure it's cold outside but the rain was gone. The cold is fine with me but not that the rain. I'm not really fond of rains. I hate when it is raining and I have to go outside. I hate walking in a wet and dirty road. I hate the loud thunders and the raindrops. I don't see nothing good in rains aside from it sustains the nature's life.

Maybe if I focused on counting my steps, I wouldn’t cry. One … two … three … Suddenly the sky looked heavy, like it wanted to rain, “oh god please not today” I whispered Then it did, it seems my prayers fell to the ground, a scold drop hit my cheek. To me rest was a thirty minute swim, multiple glasses of wine before bed, and my regular five to six hours of sleep. In the last 72 hours I have gotten more sleep than I’ve had in months. Looking at myself now as I prepare for a hopefully successful Saturday night, I look rejuvenated. My dark skin looks to be glowing all on its own.

Raindrops gently slipped through Keith's fingers, and he found the delicate, translucent droplets fascinating. "'Mom, how does rain happen?"' he asked, filled with the wonder and curiosity a child would have. He couldn't understand how a bright, clear sky could suddenly bring rain. Hailey gazed down at him with a tender smile, brushing her hand gently over his hair. "'There's a Rain God up there. When the Rain God thinks the earth needs a break from the heat, he sends rain. Otherwise, the farmers' crops would dry up, and we wouldn't have any food."'

Dark clouds rolled in, casting an ominous shadow over the woods, and rain began to fall. The raindrops danced on the lake's surface, forming ripples that merged and spread outwards, as if to mirror the turmoil within Delaney's heart. She didn't seem affected by the sudden change in weather, for she knew that the rain was an extension of her own emotions. The heavens were weeping with her, and she embraced the downpour, letting it mingle with her tears.

Nathalie's POV (Continuation) Rain. Four words that means so much in the world where illegal things are turned to legal. Rain, as far as I know is a reaper and a member of a mafia, I heard that she's good at pretending like someone, she's clever as a fox.

I didn't know what he was talking about but everything I guessed it would be is beautiful so I answered still watching the rain fall. "Intriguing". "I think the rain is amazing, don't you?" "Yeah, it's beautiful and it's strong. Like the saying goes, it's probably the strongest thing ever created because it's never afraid to fall", I explained softly, drawing patterns on the window with my fingers.
