"Rain?" "I wish I knew how it felt hitting my skin. I want to watch the sky turn dark and stand under there as it begins to pour. I want to dance under the rain, let it wet me from head to toe and get a cold from it. I just want to stick my tongue out and let the raindrops fall on my tongue. You know, like they do in the movies," my eyes closed as I pictured the rain. "You seriously see nothing wrong with how the Huxx family has been treating you?" he shook his head, "wow. I just...I'm speechless. You wish for the simplest things."

I slightly frowned at him diverting my eyes away. He licked his plum lips, “Have a nice day” Before I could I reply he had already left. “You too” I muttered. I took a deep breath and rubbed my forehead. A drop fell on my cheek and I looked up. It had started drizzling. Dark clouds huddled together as I walked back home in the slow rain. I love the rain. It’s not gloomy or depressing at all. It’s fun. I believe rain can get you on with whatever mood or state you’re in. If you’re happy you go play in the rain, jump in water puddles and dance. If you’re sad, you listen to songs and look out and cry. If you’re angry you just stand in the rain and the water cools you off. It works with me.

She placed her chin on her hand as she smiled dreamily at the ceiling, "tell me about the tall buildings, tell me about the movie stars and Beyonce. Tell me about the rain, tell me about dates and tell me about cars." I laughed at that, "well, I've never met Beyonce, but when I do see her on TV she's glorious. I love tall buildings as well, except the appropriate word is sky scraper. Uhm, you've never seen rain before?" I asked her, frowning, "does it not rain here ?" She laughed, throwing her head back, "I've seen rain, but I've never touched it or anything. Look at me, I'm tiny. Raindrops are like stones to me, so if I did step out into the rain, it'll be suicide."

Chapter Twelve The rain had been relentless all Friday. Sheets of water fell from the sky, drumming against windows and rooftops, as if the heavens themselves were mourning or warning. Nora sat in the art studio, trying desperately to focus on her presentation, but her brush hovered uselessly over the canvas. The colours and lines felt meaningless. Every stroke of paint blurred, smudged by the storm of emotions inside her.

One hand on each side and closed their eyes while speaking in a very strange language. After a few minutes had passed they stopped speaking and Rain’s eyes flew open as she sat straight up on the bed. “Thank you mother and grandmother for helping me. Where is my treasure? I need to see him please. Where is he?” Rain spoke quickly looking at the goddesses. They each kissed her cheek and stepped aside. Rain quickly got out of bed and ran into my arms. I wrapped her in my arms tightly and breathed in her lovely scent.

Callista asked and Haru immediately answered while her eyes were closed and she was enjoying the rain falling on her face. "Because of this rain, I experienced happy and sad circumstances. The rain witnessed all that I went through. And do you know that it is better to cry while it is raining because no one can see you crying because the rain accompanies you when you cry. You are free to cry without anyone noticing." Haru said and help Callista to enter the house because Callista were sick more when it got soaked in the rain. Callista was quiet as Haru helped her to enter to the house.

"With the company of some cops of course." Silently ambling to the car, the evening was cold and wet with a brisk wind, sweeping the rain across the land. The cold moved in only to meet the warmth of her blood, her defense against such ice. Raven could feel it wash over her skin, again and again, only to be met by the beat of her heart. She smelled the rain—realizing it was an absence of all odors. She wondered if it was because her airways were not functioning properly, she could feel the little hairs in her nose freezing .

" Winston’s hand slowly went limp. The umbrella slipped completely from his grasp, hitting the wet concrete floor with a soft, hollow thud. Ethan walked up to my side. He didn't hold an umbrella over my head for me. Instead, he simply placed a closed umbrella directly into my hand. "Natalie, the choice is entirely yours." I took the umbrella from him and snapped it open. The sound of the rain drumming against the canvas canopy was incredibly light and gentle. Winston stood frozen in the downpour, his bloodshot eyes watching me through the sheets of water. But I never looked back. Because that storm had already stopped in the past.

I leaned my head on Stephen's shoulder, I stared carefully at the setting sun. A few minutes later it started raining so we took shelter in a cottage. I raised my palm and caught every drop of rain.... I looked at the four of them who were now laughing as if they were talking about something funny, I also smiled while looking at them. The clouds had formed together, grey in color like an assembling of a chariot, ready to wage a mighty war, only that this war emanating from the coming together of the clouds in the sky cane in torrents; there was now a heavy downpour of rain.
