Find A Book To Read Novels & Stories

I don’t know what I’m looking for. Not really. Just— Something to focus on. Something that isn’t my thoughts. I pull out a book, sit down, and open it. Flip a page. Then another. Words. Just words. History. Names. Old events. I try to read. Actually, try this time. Follow the lines. Understand something. But my mind drifts. Back to Lauren. I exhale quietly and turn the page. Focus. Just focus. Minutes pass. Or maybe longer. I don’t know.

I tried to fall asleep but my brain wouldn't let me. I decided to visit the library to look for books that I could read. When I got there, I started to search the shelves. The library was huge and full of books so it took me some time to actually find something interesting to read. I settle for an old leather bound book with golden details at the side. I didn't bother to read the title. In my situation you wouldn't be so picky about books. And somehow, the smell of it was comforting. After I got what I needed, I headed back to my room and laid there with the book on my lap. I started to read the words but my mind couldn't seem to process anything. I was still pissed at the Queen. I wanted to read, to do something that reminded me of normalcy. I looked at my growing shelf of books and decided to pick Pride and Prejudice. It was one of my favorite books as I was a sucker for romance novels. I flipped to the first page and began. "It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

I have already started creating my second book in my series, and I am extremely excited to share it with you when the time is right. Obviously the library. Frost wandered around the library. Trying to find a useful book to read. "World of Mages and Supernaturals. This one." "Royal Family of Esperanza Kingdom." Frost brought the two books she has found towards the brown couch. She sat down and started reading the first book she found.

Going through these books might prove to be annoying, but it is still much better than having to search through every book on the bookshelves. “Can we narrow down the books any further?” Kenji asks, tired eyes glancing over the books. “Is there anything else that we know about the book that we are searching for?” Levi picks up a book from the table and looks at it with disgust. “Well I doubt the book that we are searching for is Forbidden Magic of Ghosts.” He says, placing the book on an empty table. “Maybe we start with the most likely books it could be and work our way through.” I suggest, giving my shoulder a slight shrug.

He must have guessed it. “Yes, my king. If you allow then can I have some books to read? I” I ask the king. I thought a lot about what things can help me to stop my irrational thoughts. Then, it occurred to my mind that books are my best friends. If I have some books to read then I will not be bored and will not think about my past or future. “You know how to read?” The king asks me curiously with his eyebrow raised. His reaction is not what I expected. Does he think that I cannot read?

It was like searching for a needle in a haystack, and with every passing minute, the urgency only grew. But then, as I was about to give up for the night, something caught my eye—a small, weathered book tucked away on the bottom shelf. Its cover was faded, the title barely legible, but there was something about it that drew me in. I carefully pulled it from the shelf, the pages brittle and yellowed with age. The title read, *The Lost Chronicles: A History of the Ancient Magics*. My heart raced as I opened the book, scanning the pages for anything that might be relevant. It wasn’t long before I found a section that made my breath catch in my throat.

Feeling at a loss as to what to do with myself, I decided to explore the library. Wandering through the currently empty house on my way to the library, I begin to find myself feeling rather lonely. Flicking Kenzie a quick text to see what she is up to, I walk through the door and into the library. Perusing the shelves I see that the majority are classics such as Charles Dickens and Jane Austin. But tucked away in the corner I spy one of my favourite fantasy series. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. Curling up in the lone red leather chair I open the first book and begin to read.
