It was the story of a girl who ran from her house and found a considerate guy in the new city who was hiding from his past. “Loving The Writer Billionaire”, she read the title. She started the book but put it down. There were so many questions in her mind.

In the center of the room stood an imposing mahogany desk with a leather chair. In front of it was a large black chaise longue resting on a round white rug. The atmosphere was luxurious yet discreet. Magnificent. I spent several minutes simply admiring the most beautiful room I had ever entered. Then I slowly walked along the shelves, stopping when I reached Historical Romance. Romance novels were what had brought me this far as a virgin. They were my Achilles’ heel, and there was nothing I could do about it. I picked up my cliché: Pride and Prejudice.

She must have exhausted herself with all that training. I moved quietly into the room, intending to just take the book so it didn’t fall and wake her. My hand closed around the spine, lifting it carefully. The cover made me pause. A shirtless man with a woman pressed against a wall, his hand tangled in her hair. The title was something generic…“Forbidden Desire” or some shit like that. It was an explicit romance novel. I almost smiled. My little sister, reading dirty books. It was kind of adorable, actually.

Elena’s POV I was curled up on the comfortable outdoor sofa on the deck, completely lost in my book. The afternoon sun was warm on my skin, and a gentle breeze carried the fresh scent of the lake. This was one of my favorite spicy romance novels — the kind where the cold, powerful hero finally breaks down and confesses his undying love in the middle of a storm. I was smiling like a fool, biting my lower lip as I turned the page, my heart racing with the characters.

He was about to pull away when things were getting pretty intense but she pleaded. “Don’t stop Ronald, I want you....” Raina pulled away from the kiss and let go of her robe. Ronald’s jaw was literally on the carpet. He couldn’t believe what he was looking at. Raina was in red sexy lingerie which enhanced her well-defined bump.
