Replaced by His First Love

Kael looked out the window, toward the dark, jagged peaks of the Northern Mountains. “The Moonstone,” he said. “The Lost Gem of the Ancients.” He turned back to her. The grief was gone. The Alpha was back. “It’s a myth. A legend lost for three hundred years. But it’s the only thing strong enough to ground a White Wolf.” Kael wiped the blood from Leo’s lip with his thumb. “Pack your gear, Phoenix. We aren’t hiding anymore.” He stood up, gold eyes blazing with a desperate, terrifying resolve. “We’re going to find the lost city. And God help anyone who stands in our way.”

The Forsaken

The Forsaken

But Luca's plan was their biggest threat, and the evil that lay beyond the Delacroix's cellar's door had to remain locked away. "We are sure," Luann sounded firm and confident as she spoke for the coven. Romulus gave them another minute to change their minds. When they didn't, he turned to the keystone and unfurled the scroll with shaking hands. His lips barely moved as he chanted the words engraved on the scroll by his forefathers. 'Keepers of Legend grant this great chance. Reality fabric, get rid of this keystone.' Lightning and thunder flashed across the sky when the keystone began to glow.

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

"How far is it?" Corin considered. "By the old road?" He pointed into the darkness. "About a day." Then he looked toward the broken sections. "The way it is now?" A pause. The old Watchkeeper smiled faintly. "Longer." Of course. Nothing about forgotten cities was ever convenient. The Wayfinder remained docked beside the station while preparations began. Not because we expected danger. Because exploring a lost city built by ancient road-builders seemed like the sort of activity that benefited from preparation.

The Rogue Healer's Secret

The Rogue Healer's Secret

"State your name and your business within Blackthorn immediately." The man looked up, meeting Killian's golden gaze without a single hint of fear. "I am Orion. A Keeper of the Celestial Archives." An immediate silence fell over the court. No one in the room had ever heard of such an order. "I have crossed frozen mountains, barren deserts, and three separate uncharted kingdoms," Orion stated firmly, leaning slightly on his silver staff. "Searching tirelessly for one specific child." His gaze shifted slightly, trying to look past Killian. "The child called Aiden."

Eternal Embers

Eternal Embers

“Scholars who ask the wrong questions get locked out. Or worse.” Isabelle opened the folio slowly. Inside: faded illustrations of rituals, firelit gatherings, a sigil that matched the locket’s flame-and-thorn motif. She looked up. “The Keeper of Ashes is a society of women… but this—this is something older.” He nodded. “The Keepers weren’t just guardians. They were conduits. Protectors of something ancient. Something the city tried to erase.” She stared at the last page. A prophecy. “When the embers stir in a daughter’s veins,

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

A sneer from one Alpha who likes to pretend he’s not one attack away from losing his borders entirely. I keep my tone smooth. “We’ve spent decades fighting each other because it suited the old rules. The hunters adapted. We didn’t. Phoenix, River, and Midnight just proved what happens when we stop playing by the old rules.” “Or what happens when you let a goddess into the mix,” someone counters. There’s a beat of tension, and Bastian’s eyes narrow. “Rumours.” I don’t correct him, not here, not on this call. Because I’d heard them too. The Luna of Phoenix. The one who burned silver and gold and healed wolves from the inside out.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.
