the boy stuttered out, a look of loss crossing his fingers. Death smiled, "I would have known if the beast of the fire dragons was here Edwin, your father is hard to kill, " he said grunting. "Dragons? " I echoed. Death looked at me, "Yeah dragons, big lizards that breath fire, " "We are not lizards, " Edwin whined. Death chuckled, "you know I didn't mean it little one, I fell in love with one remember? Now I can't get rid of her, " he muttered.

Fafnir screams. Without a moment to lose I faze back into my dragon form and begin to fly out of the clearing. I cannot leave my brother alone here. Halting I turn back to where I last saw my brother to make sure he is okay. I see his blue scales emerging from the trees as he comes out. Fafnir roars loudly sending out a blast of electric blue flames into the forest. Oddly enough, the flames ricochet off the trees, and back onto my brother. He is engulfed in his own blue flames, as the smell of burning flesh hits my nose.

I saw him breathing in and he opened his mouth. My sight noticed his opened mouth and his deep throat that collected fire. He ragely threw that fire and I screamed.

Not willing to look up, I get distracted when a glowing light comes from my rib cage. Getting this tickling feeling, I lift my shirt and take a look. Blue dragons with ice spitting from their mouths are shaped into a yin and yang sign. The glowing gets brighter, so I shield my eyes before looking down once more. Unlike the rest, my feet stayed rooted to the dirt—not because I wanted to, but because Soren’s disapproving glare pinned me where I stood, colder than the flames tearing through the yard. It wasn’t just Dragons that had to protect the earth from other Dragons, there were other supernatural creatures that wanted to cause disorder. After reading what I did, I had to do everything I could to keep myself from dying.
