As it watched the Flaming Phoenix swooping down, it wanted to go back into the sea of blood. Whoosh! The phoenix raised its head, spewing terrifying purple flames from its mouth. The flames covered the sky and smashed toward the blood dragon. Boom! The blood dragon roared, and the purple flames shot through its house-sized head. The Flaming Phoenix came at it and tore it into pieces with its hook-like sharp claws. Flaming Phoenix eliminated the blood before it landed on the ground.

The roaring sound of the dragon was loud and shaking, as if all of nature was trembling with it. "Come on!" exclaimed Leon. He then flew up with the power of Zeus towards the dragon. His lightning rod grabbed the dragon's head until the dragon screamed even louder. Claire flew after Leon, right in front of the dragon's mouth. Leon flew to Claire's side, now they were floating side by side right in front of the dragon's mouth. As they thought, the dragon opened its mouth. From deep within their throat, Claire and Leon could see flames starting to form and about to burst out of their mouths.

“Rise.” No one moved. Rayden raised his right hand, and golden-red embers ignited the air. “I’m not a dragon,” he said, his voice flat yet thunderous, cutting through the ranks of holy creatures. “I’m the one who extinguishes them.” Fire spread quickly, engulfing the creatures. But this was not fire that burned, it was purifying flame, cleansing the dragon blood from their bodies. Screams echoed, but slowly changed into sacred chants. The red sky began to fade, turning to orange. The dragon troops collapsed one by one, turning into glowing ash that drifted upward into the sky like falling stars.
