When Fire Meets Grace
Her face had been marked with red flames, curling over her eyes, her mouth, until she looked like she was burning.
Gasps echoed around the room. Damien’s men scrambled, searching for the source of the projection, but Grace couldn’t move. Her body was locked, her heart slamming against her ribs.
Another image appeared.
This time, it wasn’t Grace. It was Damien. A younger Damien, bloody and bruised, dragging himself out of a burning building. The warehouse fire.
The message was clear.
The past was coming back. And Marcus was writing Grace into the same flames.
“Cut the power!” Damien roared. Within seconds, the projection died, plunging the room into darkness again.
