Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

Aric nodded happily, hugging the book and stepping aside. As Danial observed the interaction, the System notified him that the search was complete. He was surprised; the first time it chose the Iron Fists technique, it had only taken seconds. This time, it had taken minutes, indicating the vastness of the library. Danial realized there must be more levels to this place. The System displayed a panel with the book's name and location. Danial's eyes widened in shock. The technique was named "Hellfire."

Dragon Queen.

Dragon Queen.

The source of the flames, the torch lay fallen on its side. “Gods, what have I done?!” Mare cried, her eyes wide with panic as she shot forward to retrieve the burning torch. Perci grabbed her and at the same time, the wooden book in his hand slipped between his fingers, landing in the flames. “No!” he screamed. The book may be made from dragonwood but it was not infallible to the flames that began to lick the edges. Perci reached forward to save it, ignoring the rising fire as it consumed the dusty, dried pages of books, gaining more fuel to grow angrier.

DEAR EX-ALPHA, GET ON YOUR KNEES!

DEAR EX-ALPHA, GET ON YOUR KNEES!

Next, the wings of the book were burning, but it didn't stop as it tried to still get away. “If only I hadn't given up my fire powers—it’s going to get away; she will get away!” Ruby yelled, and it was true as the book kept trying, then Blake and Dante finally got to her, and holding their hands, they opened their mouths, and fire came out of them, shooting straight to the book. I could hear the screams of my mother and other creatures; my head was spinning, and I couldn't take it anymore. I was about to fall to the ground, but someone held me back. I looked up and was shocked to see my wife smiling at me.

Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

I should have known better than to go out day drinking with my friends. But here I am, walking the streets with a group of four giggling girls, hopping from one bar to another, a slight buzz already clouding my judgment. It’s a typical girls’ time out, and we’re having a blast. As we stumble along, laughing and chatting, we pass the local fire station. My heart skips a beat when I spot a group of firefighters gathered outside, not lounging or working out, but having a casual barbecue.

ALPHA KING'S SECRET TRIPLETS

ALPHA KING'S SECRET TRIPLETS

I took the torch, feeling its threatening heat, and began to spread the fire around the Cabin. The flames came to life, consuming the wood with insatiable voracity. My heart raced as the flames grew, becoming a fiery metaphor for my determination to eliminate any obstacle between me, Hunter, and our future child. The crackling of the flames echoed in the forest's quiet, but my mind was focused on making a decision that would change the course of things in the pack. The fire was my answer, an action rooted in the conviction that Fierce should no longer cast a shadow over our destiny.

FATED TO THE ALPHA BEAST

FATED TO THE ALPHA BEAST

I just watched Wahika doing her thing, and everyone just watched - I had no other choice than to watch too. "You said you have the book." I heard Wahika's voice, but she wasn't looking at anybody. I stared at everyone, but none was replying, then Nahigra stared at me. I realised she was talking to me. "Yes." I responded. "The book please." She said as I stared at Hoots. I handed over the book to her and stared at Nahigra. I had told Hoots never to tell anyone about the book and I also told Nahigra, but they ended up telling themselves and I'm here in the forest of Armageddon, hoping I'd get out of here in one piece.

Once Upon An Alpha

Once Upon An Alpha

I was still confused about what the hell Heather was doing in the forest. I looked up at Harriet about to ask when I noticed the romance novel cover in front of me. Matt was holding Harriet’s hand to his chest as she looked lovingly into her eyes. Harriet was carefully avoiding the wounds that were still red and angry. If we had not just been attacked, our village set on fire, and most of our surviving park were injured, I would have gagged or dramatically fake vomited. Correction Heather and I would have gagged or dramatically fake vomited. I looked down at Heather. I frowned and tucked a lock of her hair behind her hair.

This story is so good!! The author seems to put time and effort behind their characters!! And while peoples choices can be frustrating, baby beta looking at you, they all make sense with how the story is progressing and what’s happened! Couldn’t recommend this book enough!
Space Cow
I love this book. The author has created a wonderful world with well thought characters that I actually care about. The characters aren't perfect, they each have their own flaws and personalities. Each of them have grown in their own ways.

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

Prologue II: Pyre, 3113 Pyre Av 5, 3113 Stephan Caliphus, King Everything was on fire the night he finished the book in the back room of a borrowed house. He laid his glasses down on the desk in front of him and rubbed his tired eyes. The crackling of flames could be heard as the city burned all around them. The blood curdling screams of the men in the streets where they died was enough to make the blood of the fiercest warrior run cold, but he was a man of empathy and it hurt him more than it did the others.

My Father's Rival Is My Lover

My Father's Rival Is My Lover

Damon passed around a tray of cups filled with honey-sweet tea. “No speeches,” he said. “Just presence.” They sat in silence. Together. Listening. Breathing. Grateful. And then, from the shadows, Grace spoke up. “Grandpa?” “Yes, my light?” “I want to make a new Flamekeeper’s book.” Everyone turned. “But this time… it’s not about the past. It’s about the future.” Cassie smiled. “What will you call it?” Grace looked up at the stars and whispered: “The Fire We Haven’t Lit Yet.”

Fire and Flame

Fire and Flame

That was how he lost kate to someone more romantic. EKARIS, the quiet one. Very cunning, witty and smart too. He does not do anything on his own most times. You know how scavengers do, always moving from one point to another looking for what to inherit. A predator when it comes to taking what makes people happy. He had little or no romantic life.
