A few years after reaching the mid-height of her career, she comes in contact with Mark, a well known billionaire betrothed to the heir of the largest shipping and logistics company. Mark is arrogant, wealthy and yet, breathtakingly handsome. These two fall in love but Maya hides her feelings, fearing rejection whiles Mark hides his, because of pride. He calls Maya a low life girl who is not worthy of his love. As the tables turn, Maya meets Tom who is a perfect embodiment of her description of a dream man but will she be able to let go of her feelings for Mark? Will Mark be able to love her and give up the heir of the largest shipping company? Will Maya be able to reciprocate Toms' love or will she forgive Mark for how he despised her? As I ran through the dense woods, I heard footsteps coming from behind. "Chase her!" "Don't let her escape!" A voice commanded, sending a surge of adrenaline through my veins. I ran with all my might, every fiber of my being focused on survival. Even as my knees were weak, I refused to stop. The injuries on my body throbbed with each step and tears welled up in my eyes from both physical and emotional pain. "Why's this happening to me?" I cried out in frustration. "Can't I just be a happy warewolf?" "You're quite the fast one," a man remarked, his grip on my chin rough. "Don't you look familiar?" he muttered, forcing me to meet his gaze. Unable to bear his scrutiny, I averted my eyes, consumed by fear. I wasn't ready to die. There was still so much life ahead of me! "Haha! It's the werewolf that overheard us!" the scarred man exclaimed, as he recalled where he saw me. Forcing me to my knees, he continued his tirade, "You idiot, you've brought death upon your own kind!" His words were accompanied by a brutal strike, causing fresh blood to spill from my wounds. I was tired of everything life was throwing at me. Maybe the Moon Goddess is calling me home to rest. "Kill me if you must!" I growled as I glared at him. Refusing to cower in the face of my captors. A young girl whose entire pack was cleared in front of her. He has plans for his pack, and he first wants to eliminate all the pathetic wolves in his pack. Dean can not believe that the Moon Goddess played such a trick on him by giving him the most pathetic she-wolf in his pack as his mate. Tamara and her wolf Winter feel the pain of his rejection where they stand in front of the Alpha. She refuses to beg or cry. For too long did she allow everyone to walk all over her. "I, Tamara Brown, accept your rejection, Alpha Dean Smith. I may be a pathetic orphan in your eyes, but my parents gave their lives for your pack," Tamara says. Dean is furious! How dare she not beg him to make her stay? "Get out! Take the pathetic bunch of wolves with you! I never want to see you again! The Red River pack does not need useless wolves like you!" Dean shouts. Dean has plans for the Red River pack. He plans to make it the biggest and best pack in America, and he has no place for wolves who can not fight! Tamara starts walking away, and the other "pathetic wolves" follow her. "Why are you following me? You also do not like me! Go your own way," Tamara says as she walks towards the border of the Red Wood Pack.

"Fine!" I acquiescently cave in. "He better keeps his eyes off of you, or I'll poke his eyeballs out of its socket!" I grumbled exasperatedly. She just shook her head again in disbelief. It seems like it's becoming her habit soon. After a few minutes, he came back, and he barely glances to her side which made me happy. That guy is not stupid after all. I know, I am very possessive, but I'm just protecting what's mine. Whatever is mine, is mine alone, and sharing is not on my vocabulary. Deceitful Lies, Betrayal, Revenge, all in the name of Love. Will they both find their happy-ever-after?

Buzzz… "Ah… Slower… I can't take it anymore…" Something hidden inside me buzzed insistently, and I squeezed my legs together, face burning as I sat in the corner of a dark movie theater. Beside me, my blind date set the remote down, reached over, and pressed my head downward while unzipping his pants…

But she cannot be late to her exam. "Matt, if you don't give me a lift, then I.. Then I...." she began to think of a perfect threat to scare him. Matteo moved the news paper out of his face and gave her a look. Little did she know, nothing can scare him. But her eyes began to shine with mischief, which he began to dislike. "If you don't drop me, then I will kiss you," she said something which he doesn't know would scare him.

His arms were raised above her, his hands flat on the wall, and he lowered his head to kiss her, slow and hot.
