I just wanted to borrow one book, and first thing tomorrow morning, I’d return it to where it belonged. I turned the doorknob and pushed it open slowly, stepping into his spacious, pitch-black room. Without needing to turn on the main light, I already knew exactly where his bookshelf was. So, I chose to leave the room in darkness, letting only a faint glow from the hallway seep in through the crack in the door. I walked toward the shelf, assuming the horror book was in its usual spot. But it was empty. Since I couldn’t see in the dark, I finally decided to turn around and head toward the light switch.

So, monsters would just keep respawning forever. Not wanting to be part of that world of chaos, Hina ran home, leaving the book behind in the rubbish. However, she quickly found out that it was impossible to run from her supposed fate. No matter how much of a crying tantrum she threw, she could not get rid of the book. It did not help that Hina could suddenly see things that she had never seen before, and each one of them gave her the creeps. Hina’s peaceful life had been disrupted.

but before he could make any conclusions, the book was opened by itself, the dark pages kept on flipping none stop as if they were being blown by the wind, only that the room was completely closed with no openings for any wind. Both Sara and the priest were petrified. and in a second, she felt his grip loosen over her hair, followed by the rest of his body collapsing, Sara took a step away from him, not knowing what scared her most, the dark book, or the vicious priest who was lying motionless on the ground with his wide lifeless eyes completely white. he was dead, Sara thought. ripping her eyes off him, she looked at the book which pages were not flipping anymore, taking cautious steps towa

Kathrena wondered aloud, her fingers stroking the worn edge of the book. “It’s a Book of Shadows,” I said, gently moving my hand past Kath’s and opening it to the first page. Like the newspapers, it smelt old, but it had a herby scent rather than one of cigarettes and coffee. “A what?” Skye asked, cocking his head to one side as he examined it. “Of course,” Kathrena breathed. “Witches.” “You know about them?” I frowned.

Those books were older than any of the others in his office. The bottom shelf (the one he’d been searching when he’d first heard the cats playing in the hall) held his collection of horror anthologies. I glared at the book till I was on my bed and the book never opened - maybe it is my illusion. I ducked myself into the sheets and this time I could hear the flipping of a book - The book. I was scared as hell because when I was still young, I read a lot of horror stories without the consent of my mother, Nahigra. I stared until the last flip of a page. Gradually and slowly as I can, I left my bed to see what my eyesight can't comprehend. To my surprise, it was still that same chapter and a phrase written in bold, "WHEN EVERYTHING GOES SOUTH, DO NOT GO NUT?"

Emma's hands were shaking with pure fear, and a few cold drops of sweat ran down her forehead. She put the heavy book down, completely unable to read any further. Millions of terrifying questions were racing through her mind. Why were these types of things written in this book? Was it real? Did that boy die? Worst of all... was it the Master who had done all of this? It did not look like a normal book. The letters were not printed by a machine; they were meticulously handwritten. Someone had actually sat down and written this. But who could that person be? How could anyone have written out such horrible, violent things?
