LUNA'S CURSE; Her Three Messiahs
The flames flickered, hungry, and I felt the pull, the connection, like a thread drawn taut.
The fire stirred, a living thing waking at my touch. It wasn’t just heat—it was power, raw and unyielding, answering my call. I didn’t command it; I shaped it, guided it, my will a blade cutting through the doubt. The flames rose higher, twisting into shapes no fire should know—spirals, arcs, a dance of light and shadow that silenced the jeers. Gasps replaced whispers, the camp’s breath stolen as the fire bent to my will, not a trick of the dark but a truth laid bare.
