And Beck yelled: “Here they go!” More of them, more rogues. They were also fast and precise in their advance. “Stick close! No one is allowed to breach the left flank!” Lucian shouted above the noise.

Author's POV The air was thick with anticipation as Flameheart stood tall beneath the silvery light of the moon, flanked by his elite warriors. Shadows cloaked them, their armor glinting like starlit skies against the darkened landscape. Each warrior was a master of their craft, trained to fight in perfect harmony, ready to unleash the fury they had held back for far too long. “Prepare yourselves!” Flameheart's voice sliced through the stillness, firm and resolute. “We strike at dawn!”

The orange tom gave a nod and flicked his tail, gesturing for those who were available for battle to join them. He watched with interest as smoky black tom with yellow eyes emerged from the crowd. A muscular black tom with powerful back legs followed, along with a gray she-cat with darker gray paws. While they looked as if they had seen better days, Flamestrike also noticed they were more than ready for this fight. "Thorntalon, Lightningstrike, Frozenfoot and Wrenflight are the strongest warriors I can spare," Emberstar explained, "Along with Birchpelt." He nodded to his deputy, who padded forward and touched Birdpaw's muzzle with her own.

End Cassius's POV I had to remove myself from the room after I said that to Asher. He is the worst of the dragons that live in the palace, so I wasn't lying. Conner’s dragon, Caleb, is the only one of the three who has attempted to show me any type of civility. He still left me alone in the forest once, but he did look conflicted about following Asher’s orders. They all have a lot to learn about humans; Asher the most. Yes, compared to any immortal, humans are weak but we are resourceful, and will fight back if we are pushed too far. I think I have been pushed too far.

The warriors strengthen their stand. Suddenly, a tentacles pierced most of the warriors body. This attacked was a surprise one, for no one really noticed it except the three high ranked warriors. "Evade it!" Galatrina shouted through her lungs. The remaining group of warriors avoided the second attack. But it's not over. Suddenly, a hordes of arrow but much bigger rained down. This was another surprise attack from the enemy. Even Galatrina didn't expect this one.
