Curiosity piqued, I pushed it open and stepped inside. My breath caught in my throat as I took in the sight before me. The room had a tiled chessboard floor and stretched out farther than I could see, lined with row upon row of bookshelves. It was a private library, grander than anything I'd ever imagined. Alpha Sam opened the white double doors in front of us. My eyes were immediately greeted by a row of bookshelves that soared up to the ceiling of this room. Just like the previous floor, a blue carpet covered the entire library floor, only this carpet had a beautiful pattern of gold and red. All thoughts and doubts I left aside and continued to stride towards the library. It wasn't long before we reached the place and to my chagrin, the library was massive, even larger than the Western archives. I couldn't help but be in awe as I stared at its designs—minimal and yet have a natural feel in them, probably because the bookshelves are made from Narra wood and its tables are made sturdy of bamboo. A tiny part of me wanted to rest and sleep here all day, if it weren't for the formalities I would've laid beneath the wooden tables.

There was no turning back now! As I stepped further into the library, everything before me seemed to fade and a dim light slowly emerged. The library’s architecture was breathtaking in its original form, light marble with golden accents and high pillars. I had expected only two floors, but I soon realized there were three. Shelves lined with thousands of scrolls reached up on each level, with smooth staircases elegantly leading to the upper floors. In the middle, reading corners were scattered about, with stone benches and tables to rest upon. The air was heavy with the scent of old wood, stone and parchment.
