CHAPTER HUNDRED-FORTY-SIX *She can't afford to die out here!* They hoisted her roughly, each of them on either side, and they staggered to the stairs where the attic is located. Approaching the attic, The air suddenly turned stuffy and hot and reeks of rotten smell. What the hell stinks in here?! She would have asked and yelled but her mouth has been gagged and sealed. Damn it! She can't survive in here for even thirty minutes straight!

I try to smile at my reflection but it comes across tight and unnatural, my slightly upturned nose crinkles in annoyance. I shake my head slightly so as to distract myself from those thoughts and turn my attention to the scene outside the window. The sky, which is a shade of soft, peachy pink, tells me it must be a bit past seven. Leaning forward, my hair falls to the side as I take a deep breath of fresh air and prepare to head down. First, I admire the lands once more, trying to hold on to the happy feeling lingering inside of me. The front yard is a subject of pride and looking down from the attic one can easily see why. All kinds of flowering plants stand at the front, moving with grace

The air carried the scent of blooming flowers, mingled with silk and expensive perfumes that clung to the grand hall. Amid the aristocrats exchanging pleasantries, Atthy stood out like a presence one couldn’t ignore. Her red hair cascaded in soft waves, catching the sunlight that streamed through the great windows. Her emerald eyes were serene—nearly unreadable—but to the observant, there was a flicker of discomfort hidden within their depths.

Mae did realize how foolish that sounded, giving Mathew a light tap on his back she walked away from him following the alignment of flowers on the wall.his living room had no shade of color,it was plain and somehow it fit the aura in the house, stopping in front of a pot of flower she took crouching position to look and admire its beauty,it had colors like lilac and grey, she had never seen or heard if such weird color mix and it was surprisingly beautiful, still admiring the flower Mathew regained himself and joined her where she was bending down,he didn't take the position with her instead he rested his back against the wall as he watched her watch the flower.

“Lady Mila has a strange fondness for the number seven. The words, as if amplified by a megaphone, climbed up the brick walls. - Quiet! At the entrance to the right entrance girlfriends expected another oddity. A riot of colors hid the windows of the first floor. Flowers are everywhere: in narrow flowerbeds between paved paths, in massive concrete tubs, which, if desired, cannot be moved even by a crowd of adult men, greenery seemed to grow out of nowhere, rising along the stucco molding of the old house almost to the roof. The fact that roses bloomed next to tulips did not hide from the eyes, and scarlet dahlias blazed under bushy lilacs with white clusters of small flowers. And the biggest

When the lights flickered on, a neat room came into view. In the corner was a modest-sized bed with a lampside beside it. Near her was a study table with school supplies, and across it, a window. Opposite the foot of the bed stood a cabinet filled with different kinds of flowers—each preserved, laminated, and framed. Atasha walked closer, admiring the collection. The flowers were stunning, their beauty perfectly preserved. She examined each one until her eyes landed on a photo at the very center. She froze. It was a family picture—a couple seated while a young man and woman stood behind them.

Karen nodded and followed him up a winding flight of stairs leading from a doorway next to the fireplace. There was no landing. A few steps, and she was standing beneath the low attic ceiling. The windows were on a level with the uneven floor. They were open. The smell of roses crept in. It was a strictly masculine room: a mirror supported on a dressing table, a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a wide mahogany bed, neatly made, the duvet pulled straight.

Well that must be because he didn’t see any reason why he should tell me. “Oh- i didn’t know.” i said and both siblings exchanged glances. “That’s fine. It wasn’t in our place to bring it up.” Racheal said with a sigh. “Now that i think about it, Atlas did mention you to me few days back. You’re that girl- the one everyone is talking about,” she eyed me up and down. “You look pretty normal to me.” she shrugged and waved at me. “Well since you’re here, i’ll need your help to pick out some flowers for the house.” I follwed with kevin right on my trail. The tent was wider on tehinside and had several plant varieties planted in different sections.

I'm tired of being a coward and choosing the mediocre. If Lorcan wants to play a game then, so be it. I'm gonna show him how to play it, correctly. Trixy is full again and she took me to the apartment smoothly. After getting the keys, i left her in the garage and turned around to my abode. But to my surprise, Atticus is standing before the door with a bouquet of red roses on his arms. "Hey. What... brings you here?" I can't take off my eyes from the flowers. It just feels kind of weird.

There were some points to solve before the great war that everyone is waiting for. I stretched my legs because after being bent for a long time I did not feel them behind my back, I feel a presence so I turn my head. head and relaxed a little when seeing that it was the previous vampire - Atticus - he says to which I frown - my name is Atticus, not a vampire. -Do you read my mind?- I see him shrug his shoulders.
