He won't need to take care of me anymore. Fluffy came back into the cave carrying a sizeable furry animal. Maybe the size of a Labrador retriever squirming trying to get away. Little shrills came from the white-coated animal. For being outdoors and not a pet, its fur was ridiculously white with a hint of blue hue. The face was small and pointed, the tail big and feathery, reminding me of a fox or raccoon. Fluffy brought it to Creed, his tail wagging like a dog instead of its saunter wagging like a cat.

The flakes giggled and then burst apart, reforming in a larger cluster that fluttered upward like tiny icy butterflies. Everyone froze. Lucian pointed at them in horror. “Make it stop.” “You act like this is new for me,” I said, offended. “It is new for all of us,” Marek muttered. A pup ran through the center of the foyer, laughing as the enchanted snowflakes flurried around him like a personal snowstorm. “Aveline, look. They like me.” The snowflakes swirled happily around his head. “They like everyone,” I said. “They are friendly.”

It throbbed with a cold sort of pain. On the back of her neck was a snowflake, white and pulsing. As it pulsed snowflakes fell from the sky. Abigail's POV *** "Snow!" I called out again, my voice hoarse as I struggled to catch my breath. My fluffy little cutie was really trying hard to make me go after him, yes he was a male. Snow came to an abrupt stop, he turned to look at me and I saw him lying quietly on the floor. "Are you ready to stop running?" I said, grinning as I approached him. I gently stroked the soft fur of his back, my fingers sinking into the plush white coat. He was very warm and fluffy also.

The layer was so deep that I quickly rolled together a massive pile of solid white spheres. Standing up, I began tossing them one by one at the snow-laden pine branches just to watch the frost cascade down like white dust. The thin blanket of snow fell from the high boughs with every strike, painting a cold, quiet scene around me. I was having so much fun watching the branches shake free of their icy burden that I didn't hear the silent footsteps approaching from the shadowed archway. The very moment a tightly packed snowball left my hand, Aldric Stormfang stepped directly into the open path—and the snowball hit him straight in the middle of his face.

I smile, then turn back to the view of the beautiful mountain and inhale the fresh air. “Fenice.” My heart flutters as I spin around and smile, ready to leap into his arms, when something hits me in the face. I open my mouth wide as he laughs. I grab a ball of snow and throw it at his face, then laugh. Soon, we’re in an all-out snowball fight, running around the yard. Finally, I duck behind a tree, waiting for him with two snowballs in my hands. Suddenly, I feel him grab me and lift me from behind.

She then said in an emotionless voice, "Hmm, it looks pretty dumb." This time, General Valencia couldn't really stifle his laugh. So he laughed while holding his stomach. His scary expression was nowhere to be seen. "Honestly, it was the first time Snowy acted like that. It was really haughty and arrogant. It did not even want people touching it. It is pretty aggressive. But surprisingly or not, it likes you a lot." When he finished laughing, he then said those. Frost wanted to doubt her Uncle's words.
