She lets her hand slide to the sides. The white shoe covering her toes has a silvery symbol of an eagle with its wings open wide. As her feet move forwards the silvery symbol in front turns golden under yellowish light. The small sole of it falls on the first step of the stairway, she jerks forward. Her hands get on the wall in front in time, thus her nose only brushes the surface of the wall. She turns left on stairways and puts her feet carefully with wide eyes focused on every coming step. A sigh of relief comes out of her mouth on finishing the steps that are only a dozen.

She didn't want to think about it anymore. "Yes, you're right." He agreed. Xylia wriggled her feet. "This is so great! Thank you so much, Kayden." She was all smiles. "I can't believe this is possible and I can't begin to imagine how much power was put into healing my feet." She kept wriggling her feet. "Well, we should just be glad it didn't go bad." The lycan prince examined her feet too, priding himself for a job well done.

If I let the scents overwhelm me, Sarah’s foot rub will be a short one. “Mmm, that’s good.” There is no pause once I have tended to her other foot. “Use your palm to curl and flex the toes.” I have to use my other hand to brace the top of her foot as I press her toes back towards her shins, letting my palm drag upwards. With my werewolf ears I can hear the tiny sounds of bones and tendons moving as I swap my hands and form her feet into curls. I feel a burst of pride as I find the perfect balance of stretch and relaxation. “Have you ever gone running without shoes?” I ask. “Have you ever felt the cool of moss and mud between your toes, or the brush of grass past your feet?”

I snap, and turn to walk out without looking at her. It’s twenty painfully long minutes until she comes out, but when I see her in my shorts and shirt, I forget why I’m mad. Her long blonde hair is tamed into a loose bun and she’s removed a couple of her bandages. Her tiny feet don’t even make a sound as she walks toward me. Goddess she’s perfect. Cassandra has massive feet and weird toes, they freak me out and I’ve definitely thought about my pups getting stuck with those monkey feet.

It looked like a scene from a fairy tale. She looked down on her high-heeled feet then closed her eyes, muttering gibberish to herself and trying so hard to not pass out as she stared onto the grass pathway sprinkled with a variety of white flower petals. She opened her eyes again and turned around, pacing nervously back and forth their huge backyard deck, the heels of her white peep-toe stiletto pumps clacking loudly against the oak floorboards.

Right here and now, her fellow companions can finally feel some inner peace. She smiles and starts walking towards them, but stops and pulls her muddy boots off, she can't resist the sudden impulse to run barefoot across the soft meadows. She lets out a happy squeal as she sprints after her friends through the silky grass.

Chapter 14 – Disobedience and Anger It has been four days already that I am learning how to walk on high heels. I am still struggling but I am getting a grasp of it now, and Finary made we try to wear and walk all my high heels, though sometimes I get out of balance especially when I walk down the stairs I have to hold on the banister, and when I try to walk fast I get distracted, but at a normal pace I can actually do it already with a proper posture. She always reminds me not to look down and slouch, to always lift my head up high. Finary is such a very strict teacher, she would constantly glare at me when she is tired of scolding me verbally. His eyes staring at her feet, “I love your feet.” She shyly curled her toes, “You can’t just say that.” He laughed heartily as he slid off the other heel from her foot. His eyes twinkled with amusement. “Why not?” he asked, his voice playful. “It is the truth.” “You are making my toes shy.” She answered as she kept her toes curled. Chaos set her heels aside. “They are cute and shy,” he teased, making her blush even deeper. Florence blushed, her heart pounding. “Stop teasing me,” her voice was soft and she was much shier now.

Aino was very strong. She had always been in good health, and her combat power was especially strong. After she suddenly bumped Misty, Misty stumbled and then continuously took a few steps back as she was caught off guard. Misty was wearing heels, so her heels accidentally got stuck in the drain cover. Gosh! Misty wanted to pull it out, but she just could not do it. She was unable to balance while standing on one foot, so she just kept hopping back and forth on foot, but she simply could not pull her heels out of the cover.

She remembered what he had told her last time he tried to get her to shift, and she practiced it again. He let out a small sound of satisfaction, and her eyes popped open. “You have a little bit of fur on your toes.” She looked down at them, finding what looked like soft white fur with black tips sprouting from her toes. They also seemed to change shape little. “What is it?” He reached out and touched the fur before shrugging. “Rabbit, maybe?” She sat up, and as soon as she stopped focusing on maintaining the transition, her feet returned to normal. “So, maybe I could transform into a rabbit? What use is that?”
