Fly Me To The Moon Ending Novels & Stories

With the little sounds I could hear, there was a battle of bullet exchange not too far from us. I couldn’t stand for long on my two feet and Hunter noticed as he gripped me against his chest and began yelling. “ HELP! SHIT… HELP!!!” Slowly I was losing consciousness as I fought to stay awake. Before everything became black the last thing I heard was. “ Iris please don’t leave me” Or …. I’m not so sure. So I guess that’s how it ends?

"Stop hovering like a starving scavenger if you aren't going to sit." Osric grunted, wisely retreating without another word. The silence of the long flight was punctuated only by the hum of the transport engines, and before I realized it, the pilot announced our descent into Silvermoon Capital. Just as we prepared for landing, the tragic climax of the drama played out, showing the rogue warrior preparing to sacrifice his inner beast to save his human partner, causing a sudden knot of emotion to tight in my throat. Caelan reached over, his large, warm thumb gently wiping a stray tear from my cheek. "Don't weep, Elowen. The rogue survives. They break the blood-curse in the end."

That night, Leo was conceived. Finally, for the sake of his child, Emory agreed to help. But when I rushed back to my pack lands, ecstatic to tell my parents the news, I was met with a sight that would haunt me for the rest of my life. My parents stood hand in hand before the dying Moonstone. They poured the last of their life force into it, their bodies turning translucent until they dissolved into motes of moonlight. "Liliana," my mother's voice whispered on the wind, "you have to live on."

for attention. A total stranger could feel my pain. But my own mate? He'd just cut the connection. I patted the girl's hand. "It's okay. I made it. I guess the Moon Goddess decided it wasn't my time yet." When the long flight finally ended, I turned my phone back on. A message popped up. "See the blood moon yet? Why no photos?"

I felt happy but deep inside I was always sad. I wasn't able to sleep that night. I kept turning around. The dream I used to have come back. This time I saw his face. His blue eyes sparkled. It had always been him. Mike. He even conquered me in my dreams. He never left me alone. Then, suddenly I was lost in darkness. Pitch black darkness everywhere I looked. But suddenly a beautiful woman came near me. She was dressed in white. Her hair was white as well. She hugged me. She comforted me. "Don't be afraid my child. I am the moon goddess. You are never alone. He is your world." she spoke. A knock on the door woke me up. It was my mom who came to wake me up.

Together, they would rebuild, renew, and create a future that no one could ever take away from them. The moon overhead glowed brightly, its light illuminating the pack in its silver radiance. It was a reminder of their bond, a symbol of the strength of unity, of love, of power. And as the pack howled again, their voices mingling with the wind, Leora's chest swelled with pride. This was her family. This was her future. And she would fight for it. Always.

“I think even Elliott no longer believes it—and he’s only ten.” Elliot Calloway growled again. He was in the same class as I was. Calm, reserved, and kind, but he always followed his cousin, Drake, along. One minute he would sit with me at lunch, and the next, he would join this group to laugh at me. “No, no, I agree with Nathan!” Selene said excitedly. “The Moon Goddess can tell us who we are mated with.” “Boo-hoo,” mocked Drake. “But, well, it is better than being here. Full Moon celebration is boring.”

Hunter stares up at the sky. "Moon Goddess, take me now." Ryan nearly falls over laughing. I shake my head. "Tara." "Yes?" "You're terrifying." Tara smiles proudly. "I know." Hunter is still staring at the sky like he's reconsidering every decision that brought him to this exact moment. Ryan wipes tears from his eyes. "I'm crying. This is the best day of my life." Hunter turns slowly toward Aiden. "You." Aiden raises an eyebrow. "What?" "Your Luna is reasonable."

I breathed. "I have very little time," she said urgently, her form already beginning to flicker. "The barriers between worlds are strengthening as the Convergence approaches. But you must know the truth about what you are." "The Moon Prophecy," Elder Mabel said with sudden understanding. "You're the subject of the Moon Prophecy." "What prophecy?" Kael demanded, his Alpha authority making the air practically vibrate with power. Celestine's eyes found mine, filled with pride and sorrow. "When the supernatural world split into Lumina and Umbra factions, when the ancient unity was shattered, the moon goddess Selene herself wept for what was lost. She prophesied that one day, a child would be bor

“I am the person who writes down the bill.” The pull snapped. The pool shuddered into stillness, its surface smoothing with the offended dignity of a creature who has been told it will not be fed tonight. The red in it dimmed to a stain instead of a flame. “You’ve wounded it,” Maera said, and if there was triumph in her voice it was the quiet sort that prefers accuracy to celebration. “When the moon lifts, it will not redden fully. It will mouth at the tide and not drink.” “It’s not the same as ending it,” Evelyn said, exhausted down to the bones that conversations live in.
