Fly Me To The Moon Ending Novels & Stories

"Where are they? Where will I be going?" "They are in a pack called Mystic Moon. They are in California. We will call her and make arrangements for a flight. You need to go pack now." I looked at Ma, who was crying. I went over to her, "I am so sorry. You can't come with me?" "No, we can't. Our lives are here. We are hidden here. We have obligations here. We just can't leave." I hugged Ma as we cried together. Once I let her go, I walked upstairs and started packing. I could hear Pa on the phone with his sister Leila. This would be my new life. But where did Krewe fit into this?

"Selene, the Moon Goddess has spoken. Tomorrow is the day you will journey to the future." I inhaled sharply. We had known this was coming, but hearing that it would be tomorrow made it suddenly, terrifyingly real. "So soon?" Ronan asked, his voice tight. "It must be," Lyria replied. "The timing is crucial. This is the final step to ending the first threat. The Moon Goddess's protection will shield our world until you return to defeat Elias once and for all." I nodded slowly. Unlike in the vision the Moon Goddess had shown me—where I had refused, fought, and ultimately caused more suffering—this time I accepted my destiny without argument.

“I forgive you. But there is no going back for us. May the Moon Goddess guide you to a new path.” Logan swayed on his feet, a single tear tracing a path down his cheek. He gave a final, solemn nod, then left the ballroom, his shoulders slumped in defeat.

Martha trembled violently from sheer terror, cold sweat pouring down her skin as the hand holding the phone shook uncontrollably. Natalie pushed her advantage, narrowing the trap. “Kaelen already promised he would give me my official title and cast her out of the pack entirely. I suggest you weigh your options very carefully.” With that, the call was abruptly disconnected. After a tense, heavy silence, Martha finally spoke to the maids. “Let go of the Luna.” A surge of relief washed over me. Believing that her maternal instincts had finally won out and she couldn’t bear to go through with it, I weakly reached a hand out toward her.

She waves her hands and I follow her out of my room and downstairs to the back door. We step out onto the back porch, looking out to the yard to see everyone already sitting in their seats, facing the stage that is set up in front of the creek. My father is standing beside the stage with Orpheus, the two of them engaged in a serious conversation. Draven is speaking to a few of his friends, his posture facing my general direction and when he notices my presence, his eyes travel up the length of my body. Mom smiles, catching Draven’s line of sight. She gives my hand a gentle squeeze in reassurance before releasing my grasp and patting my cheek lightly. “You look gorgeous, moonbeam. Don’t you f

My gaze was drawn to Thanus, who was standing beside Bomb Heather, breathing hard and wiping the blood from his mouth. "Look, he won," Emilia murmured, and I shook my head before sinking into my chair. My eyes dilated as I buried my hands in my hair. I was not sure what happened, but I reckoned I was scared for nothing. Then I remembered my truce with Thanus that day, which caused me to lean back on my seat and mumble an oath. "I Titania Summer shall forget the underground fight and begin a new life as the Luna of the Dark Moon pack."

"Nothing that changes what we already know about the price. But there's a passage here about the ritual's timing that concerns me." He turned one of the pages toward me, pointing to a section of Mireille's careful translation, his finger tracing the line as though the act of touching it made the danger more real. "The release clause has to be invoked at the exact peak of the eclipse. Not before. Not after. A window of moments, according to this, not the full duration of the eclipse itself." "How narrow a window," I asked, my stomach tightening. "Mireille estimated minutes," Kaiden said.

“I won’t.” I stepped closer, lifting my hands to his face. My fingers pressed into his cheeks, tracing familiar lines as though he were something fragile—something I was afraid to lose. Maybe he was all that mattered now. When I looked back at everything I had endured—the betrayal, the blood, the pain—I felt the Moon Goddess had finally shown mercy. A beautiful ending. One that didn’t involve Morgathis. An ending without wars, without curses, without death. An ending where I could stay right here… with Damien.

‘Yes, fine,’ Maddie replied curtly. ‘Okay, have you taken your elixir?’ Floyd's voice was sarcastic. Esmee opened her mouth to blurt something out, but Rodolf's gaze kept her from doing so. However, Floyd's attention was already on Moon. ‘This beautiful lady and I are going away for a while,’ he said loudly. Floyd kissed Moon's hand, ‘We need a little bit of excitement and romance.’ Moon smiled with flushes on her cheeks. ‘We won't be there all day, probably back around dinner time,’ she said

I walked away, my heart racing. The earth underneath us started to move and fracture as Veyron lifted his hand. Everything in its path was consumed by the black mist that emerged as the earth broke apart. I looked at Darius and Killian, both of them beaten but uncompromising. The decision was inevitable and hung over me like a stifling shadow. "Sometimes, you must let go in order to save what you love," the Moon Goddess said, echoing in my thoughts. I inhaled deeply as I moved ahead, my choice becoming more certain.
