Flying Dutchman Treasure Hunt Game Novels & Stories

And above all… do your best to speak only truth, or the Game will know. Lies are the currency of the damned. ] Farrah took a deep breath as she carefully read the rules. This was her lifeline after all. She had basically just died from the car accident, and she didn’t want to die again. If there was a chance of survival, she might as well cling to it. Still, she couldn’t help but feel nervous. This simply felt too unreal. “This is insane…” she whispered. “It’s a nightmare. It has to be.”

"Have you enjoyed the game so far?" Lily asked when Asher finally came around to her. For the past hour or so, he has been collecting the hints from the Helps, and he was very quick at figuring out the meaning of the clues. She was surprised at his pace but she understood that if he was able to skyrocket his company to the number 1 spot and has kept it there for years, figuring out the clues to some treasure hunt would be a piece of cake. She smiled and held his gaze, he looked ready to collect the clue and he had an excessive amount of confidence oozing out of him.

Adraine skimmed it and glanced back at her sister trying to piece together what Danica was trying to tell her. “Treasure...it's a treasure map.” Danica said, spelling it out for her. “And..”Ariadne said, her forehead creasing with confusion. “Oh for love. Treasure map Ari as in money, as in gold. As in we need money.” Danica said, rolling her eyes at her sister. “You want us to go treasure hunting.” Ariadne said, getting frustrated. “Are you not here. Am I not speaking english?” Danica asked sarcastically.

It was a tracker. I dug deeper into the bag and found a children's storybook, ‘The Hunting Game.’ I skimmed through the pages, there no words on them only colored pictures but what I thought was a story for children was actually a morbid depiction of the game. I had to find the bird before the wolves do or they would eat its heart. There were other characters in the book like the doctor, the police, and the civilians. In total there were twenty-four of them excluding the bird, the same number we were. There were no rules written in the book only the vague riddle at the end. ‘He who has the bird has the power.’ And the warning from the voice, ‘don’t tell anyone about your role.’ My head ached

Usually, Jayla wouldn't play this game but curiosity got her attention. "Alright there would be two seekers and everyone is going hide, the person who got found should go back to the music festival, put your names on the board so that we won't lose you." A guy said, handing out everyone the board and wrote their name. "The seekers will wear a red headband so that you will recognize them, as they find you, you should go back to the festival and say your name to the man who is organizing this. The winner will be the last person left in the woods and they will win 500$." He continued with a smile, Jayla felt safe since the game was going to controlled, she was relieved that it wasn't a bunch of

Edward replied with a knowing smile. My hand immediately went to my empty neck. It can’t be…he had the necklace? How? “You have it? How come the necklace is with you…?” I asked in confusion. Lucien took it so how can it be with Edward. “I won’t answer your questions for free. This is the game room. If you want something, you must win it. How about this? If you win the treasure hunt, in addition to getting the necklace back, I’ll answer truthfully any three questions that you want. In exchange, I’ll add a little handicap in the game. I’m nice though, so I’ll also give you a hint as to where the treasure could be. Deal?” Edward challenged me with a sweet smile.

It read- “Search on banks of the river, the length should not exceed 1 m to left and 1m to the right of your tent’s outer width. Find an undamaged conch and cross the river from that point. Your path is lined by your team’s alphabet. Your first task for this segment is to collect 5 treasures that are hidden along the path. Press the buzzer every time you collect one. Your alphabet will guide you. Your second task is to hunt for lunch and press the buzzer when you have completed. Type what you caught in the pager for next instructions.” Frank and Sarah headed to the banks and stopped at the point intersecting with the point of their tent. “I’ll go this was and you go that way” Frank instructe

Aster held the teddy bear; it was her turn to start the game. "Okay, close your eyes, everyone! In 3... 2... 1... Five little monkeys, humpy dumpy, mama called the doctor. And the doctor said, on the count of three, you should all be hiding. Those who are sitting, try standing up. I wanna be a dragonfly, and twinkle star, haw haw, the carabao, the batuten." The boys were praying in their minds as they passed the teddy bear around, determined not to fall victim to this dare. "Five little monkeys, humpy dumpy, mama called the doctor. And the doctor said, On the count of three, you should all be hiding—STOOOOPPP!" When the teddy bear stopped on Sariel, they all made some noise.

I believe all of you have your wolves!” “ Yes, sir!” we all shouted in unison.

Outside, a messenger bird landed near the window. A small basket was attached to its leg. Lynnek opened the note. Her eyes widened. "What?" She looked at Miguel. "Apparently, someone has prepared a treasure hunt for us." Miguel sighed. "Evelyn." Lynnek smiled. "Definitely Evelyn." She looked toward the forest. "Should we play?" Miguel smiled. "Why not?" Lynnek grabbed the note. "Then let's see what trouble they've planned." Neither of them knew that Evelyn and her "minions" had only just begun. End of Chapter Fifty-Nine
