Ethan’s eyes glowed in excitement at the mention of a treasure hunt. To simplify the game for Ethan to understand, Stephan started hiding objects in a room for them to find. He used colourful toys with contrasting textures to make it engaging. When he was done hiding the toys around the house, they began to play. For each toy found, Ethan gets a treasure such as chocolate or cookies.

As Derek makes chocolate pancakes for the group and gets me decaf coffee—even though that is probably worse for my caffeine-inclined veins—the group explains that sometimes the treasure hunt involves finding an item, solving a puzzle, or finding a specific phrase to use. “We win every hunt,” Tris states matter-of-factly, pouring syrup on her meal. “Daddy makes it easy, though,” Bea replies. “Don’t you want to win?” I ask. “We do!” Tris squeaks. “Honestly, I wish it was a little harder. But Tris has to understand the games too.” “That’s very big of you to admit that” I state to the elder girl. “Most people wouldn’t want to play with their sister because they think she’s annoying.”

The goosebumps crept all over their bodies with racing hearts. They loved that game, in fact, too damn much. Treasure hunting was the most fun game that she ever created. There were no extraordinary rules to it. The only catch was, the fancier the treasure was, the bigger reward they could claim. Treasure here could mean anything. Any valuable products, pieces of information, any valuable talents, or anything that could satisfy Shadow. It also depended on the situation. Right now, her interest is to know about The Unknown. “Can I bring Mandrill into this matter?” Sly raised his hand, eyes sparkled and nostrils flared in excitement.

Therefore, he followed her. Once they were far away from the others, Daphne said, "We're actually strangers to each other. Those who wish to head into the mountain to hunt for treasure often gather in a square in Lupool. We will find other people to form a team to look out for each other during the treasure hunt. You need to be at least a level four profound master to join a team and have the bravery to embark on the treasure hunt!"

I need the job and the last thing I need right now is to be fired just because I didn't pretend to be his fiance. The evening ran smoothly and quickly. After some presentations from famous singers and dance groups, the feast began. An expensive kind of feast that includes some of the most delicious, mouthwatering and succulent dishes cooked by a chef's heart. After that the dance continues and for five minutes, I am left alone in one chair as mister Crown ensures everyone's having a wonderful night. At ten the hosts announce the start of the game called 'treasure hunt'. The kind of game I wasn't expecting adults like us would be included in. Crown hands me a tote bag. I watch him folding his

"Welcome hunters, to the land of floating islands- or what we like to call, Aerithalia. This is your first challenge. You must search these islands and find the golden keys of Aerithalia. Once you safely get the key through the door at the top, you will automatically advance to the next round. The keys are limited, so do your best to secure one before your opponent. But watch out for booby traps, and remember; if you die in the Games, you die for real. Ha! It's that simple! ... Well, what are you waiting for? Go!" The hunters sprinted towards the rising islands, looking for the easiest way up. Luca stood there like a signpost, letting them have a good start; as if giving them a fair shot at

Tomas muttered, rubbing his hands over his face. The cards were forgotten. This sounded important. “Damien was coming back from investigating a tip—turned out to be just a gorilla—but on his way back, he spotted a group of witches in the jungle. He mindlinked us. We showed up fast. Killed four. Captured one.” He paused. “But only for a little while…” Just then, we heard Quinn approaching. We quickly picked up our cards. Gael took the pot. Quinn stepped in with a fresh pitcher of beer and started clearing empty plates.

It was for Alice, so I didn't really mind. "Okay, since everyone is here, I'll explain what the game is all about." Harry stepped out, unclasping his hands from Elena's. He pointed at all the treasures on the table — the money bundles, the phones, the diamond ring and the golden ring. "Here, the game is called Treasure hunt. You couples are going to be wining stuffs for yourselves depending on the mutual understanding between both of you. One of you will be blindfolded, and the other will have to give him the directions to pick a treasure where it has been hidden. Everything, within three minutes. I don't think any of us is new to it, so shall we begin?" We all nodded. Harry got the blindfol

Whatever Brandon had planned, it wasn’t going to be good. “Outside?” someone from the crowd called. “Yes,” Brandon replied smoothly, raising his glass. “You’ll all be divided into two groups. A simple game, really. A hunt.” That word—hunt—sent a cold shiver down my spine. He grinned wider, like he fucking enjoyed the tension spreading across the room. “Your task will be to find a treasure hidden in the very heart of the maze. The first team to reach it wins.” A maze. Great. Of course it had to be a maze.
