Flying Dutchman Treasure Hunt Game Novels & Stories

Then I put on some pjs and sat on my bed, waiting. A couple of minutes later, there was a knock on my door. “Come in” “I heard you come in” Lincoln, my thirteen-year-old brother said. From his tone of voice, I knew that wasn’t at all everything he’d heard. I sighed. “So you know?” “What exactly? That you joined the hunt even though you promised me you wouldn’t or that you got hurt?” He gestured to the bloody bandages in the trash beside my table. I sighed and patted the bed beside me. He got the message and came to sit beside me.

“My dearest Lucinda, You can keep the gold coins in your pocket... but was that enough for you? Why don't we play a game? I have a key around my neck and a hint to the treasure room in my pocket. If you kill me, it's all yours. But since the little detective is sticking his ears against the walls, how about a night time chase? We don't want the treasure to be discovered by a third party instead of you. Do you want to take part in this little game of mine?”

All I saw was my Alpha mate stepping on the gas right after slamming the door shut, eagerly rushing off to attend his ex-girlfriend's welcome-back party. He never looked back once at me as I stood in the dark forest—pregnant, desperate, and helpless. It was only at that moment that I finally gave up completely. It turned out Enzo truly didn't care about my safety, and he truly didn't love me. How laughable it was that I even hoped he might just be joking. I was so foolish to only come to my senses now. I wandered aimlessly through the hunting grounds, holding my belly. Suddenly, the ground beneath my feet gave way, and I fell straight into a shiny silver trap. Before the agony and death str

someone interrupts, excitement bubbling in his voice. Daryl claps his hands once. “Good question! It’s the Game of Hunt.” A grin spreads across his face. “Each team will search the resort grounds for hidden treasures. Think of it like a scavenger hunt—but not so easy. Clues have been carefully planted, and only the team that finds all their assigned treasures wins.” A chorus of whoas rises from the group. “Sounds tough,” someone says. Daryl nods, still grinning. “There’s just one small problem,” he says, tapping his clipboard.

Izzy asked, her brow furrowed. “Yes, in the Dragon’s Treasure, the hunter must find the thing that his mate treasures most and bring it to her. He took several tries to find what she treasured most and as soon as he guessed what she treasured he took off. He claimed her, mated with her and left her in the same week. She hasn’t seen him since.” Nate’s voice was low and he finally looked at Izzy.

The guide's voice echoed loudly around. "Alright, the rules are still the same as last year. The hunt is only finished and stopped when all the treasures have been found. During that time, you won't be able to get out of the labyrinth. There are three treasures hidden in the labyrinth, those who find the main treasure have a chance to have dinner with them. His Highness Lucifer. Ah~ I'm sure you guys are looking forward to it."

The three of them worked out their route and strategy, planning on how to get to the treasure first and to counter the other teams. The trickiest part about the hunt was not getting to it–it was getting back to the base with it. Opponents were allowed to dispossess each other of the treasure at any point, and the winner would be the one who brought it back to the base. So, getting to it first did not guarantee a win.

"Come on, Misty, you have to do better than that. Let's play Treasure Hunt." "Treasure Hunt?" "Tomorrow night. Be daring. Take a chance in life. I told you, I'll never do anything to hurt or frighten you. You can trust me. That's a promise." There was that word again. Trust. Still she couldn't make herself answer him. "All right. Here's what we'll do. There's a Hot Java coffee shop in the Medallion strip mall. Know where it is?" "Yes." "Go there tomorrow night at seven. There'll be a package for Misty. If you pick up the package, the game is on. Just follow the instructions and move on to the next stop."

At my wedding rehearsal, the officiant asked for the third time for us to exchange rings. My best friend, Stacy Campbell, stood beside me as the maid of honor, looking impish. "The treasure hunt game's started. Guess where the ring's hidden?" My fiance, Jeremy Dean, let out a helpless laugh and started guessing hiding spots. I was the only one staring at the empty box, sweat breaking out across my forehead. It was starting again. This so-called treasure hunt game. When we were kids, Stacy hid my scarf in the boiler room while Jeremy kept watch for her. I searched for four hours and finally dug the scorched corner of it out of a pile of ash. Right before the SATs, my admission ticket go

Then continued to chant. "Go now. Listen to your instincts, it is the one thing that can guide you to the young masters mate. Young Master Donald he will scent you and come to you. I don't wish to put your life in danger but it will serve as a distraction for James to bring your mate back to Sanctuary." He bowed his gratefulness to the young woman and the guard preparing for everything and faced his mates family. "Brandon. What is this do I hear of your trip to South Africa?"
