Unless she's one of mine and goes to those places so she doesn't see anyone. Ryder finds it difficult but in his mind there is no word defeated, not since he was five years old when he was stabbed for not being strong enough in the ring. Since then he has never failed and this time he is no exception. Although Ney manages to throw it, he turns her around and applies a key ready to break her neck. In other cases, blood would already have flowed. The tribune asks for it, they hit the grate, acclaiming that he kill her. Her eyes are teary from the lack of air she must be feeling, but still I couldn't pity her.

he said, “Do you know how dangerous it is. Even for wolves and you’re just a human,” “Thanks for saving my life. I’m grateful for that, but you don’t have to worry about me,” The man gazing at me as if I’m a wonder. “Who are you? Why are you here?” I asked. “I’m Alex and I live around here,” he said. “What’s your name?” he asks me. “Serena,” “Serena, where are you from?” The way he said my name, made my heart race. “I’m from Silver Fangs pack,”

Ryder reported gayly as he waltzed into the room. “I need to go to the Freeland, are you able to accompany me?” I asked the hybrid rogue, Ryder was a different kind of character; rogue, witch, wolf, medic, marine… and I am sure there were more things that we could conclude I’m sure didn’t even know. I saw him hesitate, then nod his head.

he sighed. “Well, getting together wasn’t a cakewalk. I was stupid and had a girlfriend before I was old enough to find my mate,” he explained. “Okay? So?” I asked. “My ex was livid when we were at one of the dances, and I smelled Aislinn. I walked away from her and followed my nose to Aislinn. Cindy was not willing to let me go. She caused a lot of problems for us. And Aislinn was this shy girl, and she was born blind, so she’s always been a quiet sort. She didn’t want to get into a fight with Cindy. But her wolf, Angel, well she wanted to kill Cindy. It took me time to earn Aislinn’s love and prove that she was more important to me than Cindy,” he explained.

she said weakly. “Yes, you were,” Kira pressed, her voice unyielding. “Tell me why.” Alana shifted uncomfortably, the tension in the room thickening. “I asked you a question,” Kira continued, stepping closer. “And if you don’t answer, I’ll have the Alpha ask it instead.” “No!” Alana exclaimed, panic flashing in her eyes. “No, I’ll tell you.” She took a shaky breath, her words spilling out in a rush. “Austin—the man you know as Richard—told me about the silver flames. He mentioned an old prophecy tied to them. I didn’t think they were real. I thought he made it up.”

“And I, Cato Loren, pledge my allegiance to the Stella pack and oath to use this power to help its people thrive and prosper. To stand by my side, I elect Elias Smith as my Beta and introduce Jessica Michaels as my Luna.” The sun grew brighter. Dad squeezed my hands as an ecstatic warmth rushed through us. It filled my veins and seized my muscles. My vision filled with a bright white light, as I felt like my feet had come off the ground. We could have been floating miles in the air, but my Dad still gripped me. He didn’t let go until the light faded and my vision cleared. Every wolf in the clearing kneeled. The men, women, old and young. Each one of them bowed their heads.

He wanted my rankings. My championships. My sponsors. Now he wanted Allie. I walked back to the table and opened the file again. There had to be a weakness. Everyone had one. Money. Women. Family. Fear. Pride. No one was untouchable. I began reading from the beginning again, slower this time. Chase Alexander Ryder. Age twenty-eight. Born into a wealthy and respected sporting family. His father, Ethan Ryder, had been a famous hockey player before retiring. His mother, Evelyn, had worked as a sports therapist before leaving her career to raise their children.

He ended the call without waiting for a reply. Ryder unlocked his sleek black car, slid into the driver’s seat, and slammed the door shut. His fingers gripped the steering wheel tightly as he started the engine, the roar cutting through the silence of the empty lot. With one sharp turn of the wheel, Ryder drove off into the night, his thoughts fixed on Kellan...

I want to argue, and I don't, because she's right and the rightness doesn't help. Ryder takes over the Luna duties so gradually as she has decided to spend most of her time at Nightshade helping Gio rebuild. He leads the morning patrols himself, handles the pack conflict mediation, chairs the alliance correspondence meetings. He does it the way he does most things—without announcement, without asking for acknowledgment, just moving into the space and filling it. I watch from the window of our cabin some mornings, seeing the pack organize around him, and feel something complicated: useless and proud in equal measure, the two feelings so closely braided I can't separate one from the other.

Serena looked at Xavier in disbelief, "Who is this person? You're actually so tolerant towards him. He’s been insulting you for so long, and you didn’t even respond. This is not the usual style of you, Mr. Blaze." "Sigh!" Xavier shrugged. "Christan Ryder! The hottest person in the entertainment industry right now!" "The Blaze family is so wealthy, and he’s just an actor. You’re this tolerant of him?!" "He’s no ordinary actor! At just over twenty, he’s already swept all major film and television awards and became the youngest ever Best Actor in history. The Ryder family has been in the arts for generations. His grandfather was a national-level actor in Vernon, and his parents have performed n
