No Longer A Fool For You

No Longer A Fool For You

“You know what, Collins? This is it. I’m so tired. Tired of all this… this world, this life, this constant cycle of lies. Why… why? His voice broke beside me, desperate and trembling. “Selene, I’m so sorry. Please… I’m sorry. I never meant for it to be like this. I swear.” But I couldn’t even look at him. The weight of everything pressed down, suffocating. And his apologies, no matter how sincere they sounded, felt too little, too late. My throat burned as I forced out a laugh, the kind that wasn’t from amusement but from something jagged clawing inside me. I tilted my head back, clutching my chest as the words spilled out of me. I bit down on my lip so hard I tasted blood. My laugh turned b

Taking the Fall for a Fool

Taking the Fall for a Fool

Eventually, he grew emotional and yelled, "I just made an error, that's all! "There's always a margin of error. This doesn't prove that I tampered with the report. You can't just accuse me of falsifying the report!" All of a sudden, David remembered something. He excitedly pulled out his phone and started scrolling through it. After looking through his gallery, he pulled out the photo of the finger diagram and said, "Nick reminded me of something. There's always a margin of error, but the prints on the drug vial definitely belong to Natalie. This is concrete proof that no one touched the vial but her."

This Time, I'm the Fool

"What do you mean?” I looked up as well, meeting her suddenly widened eyes, my expression harmless as I answered, "Maisie, I forgot to tell you—only the top sheet that got wet was an exam admission slip. The rest underneath is just scrap paper. And unfortunately… the one that got soaked… was yours.”

he whispered. "No," I corrected, leaning closer until our faces were inches apart. "A fool is someone who doesn't know better. You knew exactly what you were doing when you used my love to build this company. You used me as a stepping stone and kicked me away when you reached the top. Now, I’m just pulling the stone out from under your feet. Don't pretend you're shocked."

Once Upon A Drunk Night

Once Upon A Drunk Night

I feel foolish for being unable to love a woman like her; my actions have caused her so much pain, and it weighs heavily on my conscience. "Eloisa, I am deeply grateful for your love, your care, your honesty, and everything you have done for me, but I do not deserve it. Witnessing you in this state, loving me while receiving nothing in return, is unbearable. If you truly love me, you will listen to my words and move on to find someone special for yourself, because I will never be able to love you. It is not that you are not perfect; rather, I am a fool, and my heart already belongs to another woman."

Dear Wife, You Are Mine!

Dear Wife, You Are Mine!

I cried and ended up playing a sad song which says I was on my own when you told me you love me but after everything, I am left on my own. Why? What did I do? Where did I go wrong? Is it a bad thing to love Smith like a fool? Why on earth did he betray me that way? Do I deserve such treatment from him? If he cheated it’s even better, I would be angry for some time and then maybe later forgive him but instead he chose to deceive me for a long time. Amanda, you are a fool, you allowed your feelings to be used by Smith, he fooled you right under your nose and you never knew because you got so blinded in love.

MY REBOUND MEN

MY REBOUND MEN

His beautiful song was our love story’s grand finale. "I'm the fool who threw true love away And now it's raining every single day Baby I'm sorry for hurting you that way Please, forgive this fool and choose to stay" Everyone cheered for him. As he gave me the roses, I managed to force a little smile and he looked really hurt by it. A pang in my chest made me wince, but I managed to make it go away.

I am no native English speaker so I find the narration and execution of the story great and understandable. Plus, the name of one of the male leads(Boo) is rather different from the usual names of male leads so, for sure, it will be a memorable name for readers.

This is the 2nd time I’m re-reading this book. It’s well-written, has fleshed out characters that I can relate to and plenty of fun and steamy scenes without being tacky or overkill. The author has written a great plot. This is one of the best stories here about finding love again!

The Surgeon's Foolish Wife

The Surgeon's Foolish Wife

"Stay right there. About your father—sign Rick's letter of forgiveness first. Only then can you leave." I was so furious I laughed. She had personally smashed my hands, yet she wanted me to sign a letter of forgiveness for her lover? "I'm not qualified to sign that." Clearly, Clara took my words as an excuse—a form of bargaining. She shot me a contemptuous glance, pulled out a card from her bag, and tossed it at my feet. "Not enough money? Is three thousand enough? Your country bumpkin father wouldn't earn that in a year, right? Tommy, you should be grateful."

Fool Me Once, and I Never Forgive

Fool Me Once, and I Never Forgive

That night, he’d held me in his arms and promised that once his company was big enough, he’d hire a criminal defense attorney and help me find the truth. Looking back now, everything I thought was real, every moment of tenderness, everything I called love, had been a performance from start to finish. He’d carefully memorized every scar I had and every source of pain, just so he could aim at exactly the right spot. When I didn’t answer, he pushed harder. “You were only ever practice material because you came in clean. Something like this isn’t for everyone.” He coaxed in a gentle, patient voice: “Come on. Pick up the money and thank Ashley.”

Ex wife; Return of the sassy heiress

This has better be a dream. “ If I am a fool? Then what are you for being in love with a fool for three years? We're both fools!” I yelled back at him as I couldn't take the endless pain from his words. “Do you think I love you? You're my prey, which I didn't hesitate to hunt down at the very last minute. You see the reason why you should be named a fool?” Lewiston said as his mockery laughter resounded into Helen's ear. The laugh sounded scary, which made her body shake in nothing but a total fear given the wrong situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve been down this rabbit hole before! 'Fool for Love' by Kōji Suzuki is one of those titles that’s a bit tricky to track down digitally. While I haven’t stumbled upon an official PDF version, there are definitely fan translations floating around forums and niche book-sharing sites. The original Japanese version is easier to find, but English readers might need to dig deeper or consider physical copies.

That said, if you’re into Suzuki’s horror vibe—think 'Ring'—this one’s worth the effort. It’s got that slow-burn psychological dread he’s famous for. I ended up buying a used copy after striking out online, and honestly, holding the book added to the eerie atmosphere. Sometimes the hunt is part of the fun!
