“You look perfect. I mean, you’re perfect just the way you are!” Pete said warmly. His words were meant to be sweet, but instead of making her blush, they left Rebecca feeling distinctly uncomfortable.

"Call me Pete- and I mean it," Pete said, staring at the side of her face. Rebecca, in response, smiled lightly and hurried inside the gallery. It was uncomfortable to hear such sweet words from a middle-aged man, who had a twisted intention.
