The Daughter Erased
Once my parents left, Summer grumbled to herself, "Oh, so now they regret? Do they think that since I'm going to die, I'm no longer of any use to them?"
I never once thought that Summer would doubt our parents' love for her. The only people in the entire world who truly loved Summer were them.
Of course, what the fortune teller said had affected them too.
Summer made a call.
"Oh, wise fortune teller, please help me…"
I did not hear the rest of the phone call as I followed my parents home. They went home and made dinner for Summer as usual, combing through the internet to look for me, at the same time searching for a compatible bone marrow donor.
