The Art Of Dying

The Art Of Dying

There was hesitant hope in her voice again. "Maybe then," I said firmly. "I'm not forgiving you totally. I'm choosing not to stay angry. There's a difference. Forgiveness is something you earn over time through actions, not something I can just give you because it would be easier. But I'm also choosing not to let what happened poison everything going forward. I'm choosing to acknowledge that people are complicated. That you can do something terrible and also do something good. That one doesn't cancel out the other, but both can be true at the same time."

THIS THING CALLED LOVE

THIS THING CALLED LOVE

His message was about forgiveness—a topic that struck a deep chord with Adrian. The priest spoke about the necessity of forgiving others "from your heart," referencing Matthew 18:35, the conclusion of the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant. His words resonated with Adrian. Forgiveness was not just an outward act, the priest said. It had to be sincere, a true release of anger and bitterness. The priest emphasized that holding on to grudges and hurt only weighed a person down, adding unnecessary pressure and burden. By not forgiving, one only brought pain and hatred into their own heart.

Was I really gonna lose him also ? Today was Sunday. I decided to go to church with my family. While in church the Catholic father announced the topic on which he was preaching was forgiveness. He said " Forgiveness means to forget someone's bad deeds or mistakes and not punishing him or her for that bad deed or mistake or bad behavior. Sometimes, a person performs such act which is damaging for us, hurts us or makes a part of our live tough but " true forgiveness is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you." This is a quote by Lewis B. Smedes. As Martin Luther King JR. Once

Scorned Luna; Betrayed By My Alpha

Scorned Luna; Betrayed By My Alpha

He spoke with a quiet conviction, his voice a warm embrace that enveloped Hazel's battered heart. "But you can still forgive her, Hazel," he whispered, his eyes filled with a deep understanding. "You can still let go of the anger and the hurt. You can still love her, even in death." His words struck a chord deep within Hazel, resonating with a truth she had been unable to confront. Forgiveness wasn't about forgetting or condoning, but about releasing the toxic emotions that had held her captive for so long. It was about finding peace, about healing, about moving forward.

Love this story so far. I hope she gets her revenge and second chance at real true love this time. Karma for the alpha and sister that betrayed and cheated on her. The Moon goddess will help her. Hopefully she is a special and powerful wolf.

Considering all comments between chapters seem to disappear, I expect this to as well... This story starts with a lot of promise. Unfortunately, it soon becomes disjointed and VERY repetitive. It feels like there’s been a lot of cut and paste going on. The author loses many opportunities to enthral.

No Room for Forgiveness

No Room for Forgiveness

“Mommy, you can sleep with Bunny. Will you forgive me after you wake up?” I could feel my tears fall and vanish in the air. My silly, darling daughter assumed that I was only sleeping because I was upset with her. Why would I ever be upset with her? I regretted marrying and relocating so far away from home. I also regretted all the times I forgave Eliott. However, I never regretted giving birth to Ava. She was the light of my life, the only consolation during my roughest days. Without Ava, there would not be anything worth holding onto in this world.

But as I watched her sob and cry, a thought occurred to me. "Eleanor," I said softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe forgiveness isn't about letting go of what he did to you. Maybe it's about letting go of the anger and hate that's holding you back. Forgiveness isn't forgetting or excusing, but it's about finding peace within yourself." Eleanor looked up at me, her eyes red from the tears that had fallen. "How can I find peace when I've lost everything? And, you'll lose it as well. Keira and Daniel will make us lose our Danielle again." she said, her voice soft and pained.

They let go of the anger, the resentment, the bitterness that had festered in the darkness. The chamber began to glow with a gentle light, the darkness slowly dissolving. The shadow that had haunted the city began to lift, its grip loosening. The people emerged from their homes, their faces filled with wonder and relief. They looked at each other with new eyes, their hearts lighter, their spirits renewed. The city was healed. Forgiveness is not about forgetting. It is about releasing the hold that the past has on the present. It is about choosing to let go of the weight that we have carried for too long.

Forgiveness is an act of generosity and strength, but it can also be one of the most challenging tasks a human can undertake. Forgiveness involves letting go of resentments and negative feelings toward someone who has hurt us, and this is not something that can be done superficially or automatically. Instead, it is a deep and complex emotional process that requires time, understanding, and self-transformation.

A Breeder For Alpha Alexandros

Slowly, almost imperceptibly, a smile graced my lips. "Forgiveness is a sacred gift," I whispered, my voice filled with sincerity. "And you, Eirene, you have earned it." In that moment, all the walls between us crumbled. We embraced each other, the weight of our grievances evaporating as the warmth of forgiveness enveloped us. Tears pooled in our eyes as the bond of friendship, once shattered, now mended.
