Goodbye to My Don

Goodbye to My Don

The final page bore my rough, yet deeply moving handwriting: [May all those who cherish life be treated with kindness. And if not loved, then at least understood.] Every word he read cut him like a knife. That night, Vincenzo locked himself in his office. The next day, he appeared at the Stonehaven Times Annual Charity Gala. Wearing a black suit, with a white camellia pin—my favorite flower—on his lapel, he stood before the world’s media and declared: “The Moretti Group will be restructured into a global foundation for medical research and women’s health.

Contract Marriage with the Disabled Billionaire

Contract Marriage with the Disabled Billionaire

Just people who had believed in Darren and me even when it wasn’t convenient. Darren stood beside me the entire night, his hand always brushing mine, anchoring me. We shared smiles, nods, polite conversation. And then, after dessert, I rose and held up my glass. “I don’t usually give speeches,” I began, laughing softly. “But tonight deserves a few words.” Everyone quieted. My eyes found Darren’s first. Then I turned back to the room. “This foundation was born from grief. From silence. From shadows. But today, we’re rewriting its origin story. Today, we’re beginning again—not from pain, but from purpose.”

This is Farewell

This is Farewell

Kayla stood on the sidewalk, umbrella in hand, staring at the diagnosis report. A bitter smile crossed her face as she thought about having just a week to live. That was enough for her to say goodbye to this world and Winston. Her phone died while she was on her way home. As soon as she reached home and turned her phone back on, it was bombarded with messages from her friends. "Kay, you're so lucky! If I had a husband like Mr. Atwood, I'd wake up smiling every day!" "Damn, Kay, your husband is something else! Everyone's buzzing about how he's flaunting his love for you!"

Goodbye, CEO Trashbag

Goodbye, CEO Trashbag

As the girl walked away, she kept glancing back at Alfred, reluctant to leave. "I'll always support you and Vivian! You have to get married!" Alfred watched them go, then casually dropped a scoop of ice cream onto my plate. "Babe, don't take it to heart. The CEO Falls in Love series on Vivian's socials is blowing up—it's great for the company. You have no idea how happy it makes her. If I shut it down, she'll be upset."

Goodbye, My Alpha

Goodbye, My Alpha

"Please, don't reject me, don't leave me..." "I won't leave you!" The figure turned, revealing Louise's beaming face, not Lina's. Andrew's heart sank, and he let go, plummeting into an abyss of despair. … I was lying by Twin Shores Lake, savoring the liberating breeze, when my teacher, the tribal healer, found me. He had traveled through the night to reach me before I left our lands for good. He brought grave news: Andrew's condition had worsened, and the wolfsbane poisoning had flared up again. His mother had summoned Louise back to their community, hoping she could help.

The Secret Babies

The Secret Babies

My little monsters were happy to see their other Grandma. Damon, Anna, Lucy, Michael, Bella, Liam and I have gotten closer than ever. We are so happy for the life we have now and we are all doing well in our fields of endeavour. We decided to give back to society and together we formed a non- governmental organisation called DALBALM FOUNDATION. (DALBALM symbolises our first names) Through the establishment of that foundation, Our mission was to go to each and every less privileged town, look at what they are lacking and make it available to them free of cost. Our foundation has started work. We have started building free schools, healthcare and even provided clean water for towns that don’t

I loved this story. It had a plot of why she left and didn’t come for 5 years. Abagail was a strong independent mother who worked hard to get a degree and money for her mom’s surgery. Lucy was the selfish less person. She knew Liam loved someone else and helped the two reunite with his twins also.

This was a great read within this short story the author was able to provide a great plot, descriptions, little drama with a twist and no evil exs to draw out the love. I really enjoyed it can't wait to read others from this author

After We Said Goodbye

After We Said Goodbye

No words came through the line. After I hung up, Darren looked at me, worry shadowing his face. “You’re really not going to tell her?” I shook my head. “No. I’m tired, Darren. I’ve had enough of this life.” He nodded. “All right. If that’s your decision, I’ll respect it.” All I had left was a few years’ worth of salary saved in my account. After ten years working for Band Corporation, I had nothing else to show for it. When I arrived at the hotel and went to pay for a room, the receptionist looked at me apologetically and said, “Your card has been declined, Sir.”

Their Rejection and My Goodbye

Their Rejection and My Goodbye

Six months into my grim bone cancer diagnosis, the doctor urged me to get hospitalized before it was too late. Broke and out of options, I dialed Morgan Kramer one final time. What answered me was her 100th rejection. Despairing, I gripped the diagnosis papers and shuffled alone to the crematorium. "Hi, I'd like to reserve a cremation slot ahead of time," I said to the clerk. He froze. "You're dealing with something heavy? Where is your family?"
