Omega Bound
I press the fabric to my face and inhale.
Deep and desperate like a man drowning and looking for air.
For a fleeting second, the fire cools down just enough for me to breathe, then it vanishes.
The scent is fading, almost gone, panic slams into me, no don't disappear yet.
