he reaches out for her face but she shoves him away angrily. "It will be cool if I get to tell you a story... Don't know if it should be a bedtime story or what, but I will say it anyways " he takes the seat before her, " once upon a time, there was a little fairy girl who thought life is as simple and sweet as honey, she was pretty but too bad life doesn't need beautiful people but rather, it needs wealthy and strong beings to keep up with its cruelty. Because this little fairy didn't fall in any of the categories mentioned above, she had no choice but to become a bide to those that are strong and prey to the wilds and wealthy " the smile on his face was enough to leave Audrey fuming.

I guess her height is 176 cm which is 12 cm different from me, who has a height of 188 cm. She is beautiful, enchanting. A unique beauty, I called her beauty "fairy tale beauty". Is she from another country? She looks different from a common girl in this country. After a while, she finally realized that I was staring at her. That girl, Nadya, whom I didn't know her name at that time, saw me too. While I looked at her with a look full of admiration, she smiled at me. Her cheeks weren't red, maybe that's her "Candle skin" uniqueness, but I could sure that she was shy when I looked at her. And behold, even her gaze is so different; her gaze is gentle, delicate, and winning. I swear she looks li

I squeak from under the covers. My grandmother gives me a disapproving look. "I mean, tell me a new one, please." I say. "I want a story I never heard before." "One you haven't heard before? That's no easy task." She walks over to my bookshelves; her fingers trail over Grimm's Fairy Tales, The Happy Prince, Collected works of Hans Christian Andersen. Even at that age, I had a huge appetite for fantasy. For the unreal. Gran sits back down on the bed. She looks thoughtful for a moment, scrutinizing my face before nodding.

But as I grew older, I realized there are no real fairy godmothers (of some sort), or a prince charming that would suddenly save me from every little thing I’ve been through. Maybe because they’re all fiction—too unrealistic. They’re just that—meant to be read and watched by kids. Anything fairytale does not even apply in adulthood anymore—if back then we survived as kids because we only thought about castles and fairies and all that grandeur stuff, but adulthood was the reality—it was a harsh slap that woke me up from my dream. Ah… fuck being an adult. Every day makes me want to commit a crime or fake my information and marry a conglomerate heir and then live my life in lies for the rest of

It’s really uncomfortable to try to sleep when someone is doing a samba in your uterus. Rose shrugged. “There’s a lot like that because then you get the Cinderella stories, the knights in shining armor stories, and the healing stories.” “What’s wrong with a good Cinderella story?” Heather asked. “I adore them, and almost every culture has one or two that have been printed as beautiful children’s books.” “Nothing is wrong with a good Cinderella story,” Rose started. I interrupted her. “Except when the prince turns out to be a giant dick, but she can’t escape him because he’s the most powerful alpha and they’re fated mates.”

“That does not count as a bedtime story,’’ Babybaby finally found her voice. “It is child,’’ the thunder god answered. “No it’s not’’ Babybaby insisted quite stubbornly. “bedtime stories are supposed to be a nice tales with happy ending, all bedtime fairytales are, like the ones Amaka used to read to me, this one is a stupid story.’’ “Babybaby hush it’’ Orchid started, fearing the frown on Shango’s face. “What is a fairytale?’’ he asked instead. “Well it’s the best story there is, a prince falls in love with a princess, a bad witch not happy with the arrangement pokes nose into the matter, the prince cuts her great big nose with his shiny sword, rides away with his love and everybody lives h

She just didn't know. "Mom, The Wrong Cinderella is one of the best books of our time. It is a fairytale that has broken every single rule that is associated with the genre. The well-known tale of the orphaned servant is retold in modern times where balls are house parties and princes are famous jocks. The biggest plot twist, however is when prince Charming falls for the wrong Cinderella. In this timeless, genius story, Cinderella isn't a servant but a rich, uberfemale who won't let a boy get in her way." I told her, doing my best to sum it all up in a way she would understand but that would still make the book sound as awesome as it is.

My voice cracked but carried weight. He frowned, lowering the folder. “Don’t make decisions in anger. You’ve worked too hard to just—” “No,” I cut him off sharply, my hands shaking as I shoved sketches into my bag, pages crumpling under the force. “This isn’t about anger. It’s survival.” “Elara—listen to yourself,” he tried again, his tone softening. “Don’t throw your future away because of—” “My future is…is already gone,” I snapped, my throat burning. “I just need a chance to build a new one.”
