I push him out of my way as it has become one of his habits to block my way. He follows me chuckling like a hyena, while his chunky black combat boots chunk against the wooden floor. I walk down the staircase and walk near the narrow passage stage and take a seat. The curtains that cover the main stage are down; they are nice red silky curtains. Jake walks behind the main stage and turns on the music, he plays the song I have to learn the choreography to. Ironically Cheryl the beautiful blonde chose ‘Prisoner’ by The Weeknd. Maybe she did it to poke fun at me, I don’t know. But as far as I saw she’s the best out of all the strippers, she knows what she’s doing.

Lucian himself had gone paler than paper. He stared at his own hands in disbelief, feeling the muddy, churning power inside him. He shook his head at seeing what they had done for the couple. He looked at her, and he saw her surprised face when he pulled off into the parking area. She looked at him. “What is this?” “I told you we weren’t done for the night.” He said as he looked at her. “Now for something special.” “What?” she asked. “I rented this area out for the night.” He said. “It has a perfect view of the sky when there are no clouds which I am grateful tonight it seems there are none. You can see the whole sky from here when it is dark because of the no lights anywhere.”

I finally asked, my voice turned into a sob. Lawson glanced at me, calm as ever. "He's mine and Judy's pup." My heart ached. I did not need to question him about the rest as I already had the answers. He continued, "I didn't lie to you. I settled Judy and Samson in the mountains and never let them enter our pack. Judy is pitiful enough. She can't even have a proper status. But you can be the pack's Luna, and your pup can become the heir. Her pup will be an ordinary werewolf for life. You already have so much, so be grateful."

Seeing how terrified I was of him, the light in Ethan’s eyes dimmed slightly. He intentionally softened his voice and said, “Don’t be afraid. I won’t punish you anymore. I love you, Eva. I won’t hit you. From now on, you will be my Mrs. Miller, just like before.” I shook my head frantically, offering a desperate, pleasing smile. “I wouldn’t dare. I am just a mistress. I will be very good.” Ethan’s smile froze on his face, leaving him speechless for a moment. The way he looked at me became complicated and conflicted.
