Maybe I was imagining it, but the library suddenly felt at least ten degrees warmer. I focused my attention back on the books in front of me, now that Cole had added a few. I could feel his gaze still on me, but I tried to ignore it as best as possible. Then I turned a page and the book really did grab my entire attention. On the pages I found a record of all the packs of the werewolves, not just the Grandmoon Pack. I turned the page, hoping to find some record of the Western Pack. Sure enough, there was indeed a record of the western pack, but it was just a few sentences.

Fenrir spoke, diverting my attention. “That was fast.” I spoke. “Of course, I’m actually useful.” He spoke, giving Damon a death glare. “I’m listening.” I said. “When you mentioned the entity being a shadow or rather a dark shadow that granted wishes in exchange for souls I thought that sounded familiar—anciently familiar.” He pulled out a book, “Hey, librarian, know about this?” The book was old, with the back pages already peeling off. It read in bold, vintage font, “Elemental Werewolves: The Curse of The Dragon.”

she continued. I didn’t wait for further directions and headed that way. Sara was right. The library was crammed with books so rare that I didn’t even think they existed. I ran my fingers over them and stopped at the supernatural section. Werewolves. The variety of these books was astonishing. A Hidden History or Under the Full Moon. But the one that caught my attention was The Grim Howl.

Somehow the desire and need still hadn’t left his eyes. I signed, turning back to the now drained mojito. Apparently I’d finished it and not even noticed. This shouldn’t have happened. With humans, yes, it was possible that one bite could lead to desire and in extreme cases, obsession. Con of being a succubus. But it had never happened with another werewolf before. Is it possible what he felt was genuine? Maybe. Who really knew? It’s not like there were loads of other wolf-succubuses around to talk to. In my 300 years, I’d met one other, and she met an unfortunate end thanks to a couple vampire hunters and a stake in the 1870s.

Maybe she could ask Zoran if she could spend a couple of hours here every day. Walking down the isles, she noticed all kinds of books. Some on witchcraft, others on vampires, elves, unicorns, dragons.. everything she’s ever read a fantasy book about, there was plenty of information on it. Just as she was going back to the first floor to wait on Zoran, she saw it. The werewolf section. She couldn’t control herself. She had already glanced at all the other books but those. Slowly, she made her way over, looking at all the titles and covers. Finally, she found what she was looking for. Reaching up, her fingertips grazed the spine as a hand grabbed her wrist.

The alpha king glared at him. " You dare stand before me and speak of my death. Do you know what this place is? This was where I killed the old lady. Sophia witnessed it and ran. This place was where you had your first meeting to dethrone me. " He paused and smiled. " And this is where I will start clipping your wings. I let you fly too high. " " What?" Ruckus smiled. " Try and see." " Do you know how strong a werewolf can become after killing?" The alpha king released his claws and started walking to the oak tree.

I hiss as I end up landing on top of him. As I let my fangs lengthen I whisper in his ear, "This time I will make sure you don't!" I pull his head to the side with force and sink them into his neck tearing just a little so I don't have to remove my fangs. It is not wise for a vampire to take a life while drinking or in a fit of rage because it can lead to bloodlust and the transfer of their power but for this one time, I made an exception, I drink and drink and drink until I feel him stop struggling and I feel his heart stop beating. I remove my fangs from his neck but don't retract them and hiss loud as the power of a werewolf Alpha runs through me adding to my own power, I jump off the bed

Yet, Luthias looked to be fading rather than recovering. “What’s wrong with him?” I asked. “I thought vampires could heal almost immediately.” “They can from most wounds except bites from other vampires or werewolves. This is his blood, lass,” she said with disgust. “They stuck him so full of holes, it’s a wonder he didn’t bleed dry.” “Werewolves really exist?” I said aloud. When she didn’t respond to my insensitive babbling, I clamped my mouth shut. I emitted a loud gasp after inspecting him more closely, but said nothing more.
