Logan’s voice grew lower and lower until it was barely a whisper. Then, in the very next second, he broke free from the bodyguards’ grip and lunged forward, slamming his head directly against my tombstone. Blood burst out instantly, forming a striking red flower.
Logan’s limp body slid slowly down the base of the tombstone as he choked out his final words, “Eva… I’ll die and beg for your forgiveness myself.”
