– Can you do something with them? I knew about mermaids only from the goblin and Anya, I personally never met them, since they mostly live only in the underworld. This is my understanding of them. Here is pure, untouched by civilization nature, with the same clean and untouched water. What do we have? Everything has been polluted for a long time. What kind of life can a mermaid have there? Although, this is for the best - you would not wish such a neighborhood to your enemy! My train of thought was interrupted by another mermaid cry:

It may be true their kingdoms are underwater and that they are indeed mermaids but once out of the water they gain legs and are just like us. They also have a vast army that can be of service if we can get them to agree.” My mom nodded in understanding.

Land is not their natural habitat that causing them to turn into a human like creature. Weak, no power, and it will only made them difficult to stay alive if they can’t adapt the new world they have on land. Mermaids are semi-aquatic, which means they spend part of their lives on land and part in the water. They mostly rely on marine ecosystems for their survival as a species but may venture to land every so often.
