I'm busy making an another mixture of my posion and my daily mixture of herbs for my prisoner's beast. He went beside her to check her mixture. Freya is not an ordinary witch you could compared just like in the movie with a messy long curly hair, wrinkled face, dark lips, big eyes, long fingernails, wearing a black long gown like a dress when attending someone's funeral and had a broom sticks beside her, Nope! She's not like any one of those.

"Yes, and since you don't remember me I'll gladly introduce myself to you once more." "I am Freya, the leader of the healers who reside in Hephalis,home to the mighty beast who soar above the limitations of mortals, my dear Skye," she uttered, and the lights suddenly flickered on and off, as a huge shadow casted down on the wall. And in front of me, was the same woman I was talking to seconds ago, but this time, she had a pair of huge fiery wings. What the hell is happening? Is this another nightmare?!

My fears of betrayal, it seemed, were unfounded. Hearing my comment, Freya rolled her eyes at Mason, then turned to me with a friendly demeanor. "Now that’s impossible. I wouldn't choose someone who’s like my brother as my boyfriend. You’re my cousin-in-law, right? Hi, my name's Freya Zellwood, but you can just call me Fae." Freya’s personality seemed as sunny and charming as Mason's. Having such people around was indeed delightful. "Hi Fae, I'm Serena Hart." I smiled back.

I wanted to believe that she had helped me because her feelings were genuine…and at that moment, they had felt real. Freya opened the door then, almost like she had been expecting a visitor. But when she saw that I was the one on the other side, he eyes widened in surprise. "Cameron? You're up already?" She opened the door wider, revealing her attire that consisted of an oversized green hoodie and short jean shorts that reached mid thigh. My eyes momentarily travelled her body, fixated on the long, lean legs that seemed to stretch on forever. Freya wasn't very tall, about five feet four, but she was beautifully shaped. If only she hadn't starved herself to feed her brother…

And then she appeared. Freya stepped out from behind a tree, her entire figure shrouded in black leather, sleek and polished. Her hair was pulled back, and her expression… it was hard, cold, and more calculating than I had ever seen. She was nothing like the woman I had known, the one who would cry on my shoulder and plead for my support. No, this version of her looked almost… predatory. She took a step forward, her eyes locking onto mine. “So, Caleb,” she started, her voice dripping with a mock sweetness that chilled me, “Good to see you again. Does me some good to know you care about me."

His fingers twitched like he was trying to grab something solid, something that could anchor him. Freya’s eyes flicked over him, then to me. Before she even asked a question, she stepped closer and dragged a finger along my arm. A slow smile tugged at her lips. “I didn’t think you still remembered your way through the woods,” she said. I stepped out of her reach. “Neither did I but my beta needs you.” She shrugged and went back to Reeves, pretending she didn’t care. Typical. Her pout didn’t fool anyone. I met Freya ten years ago, during the treaty war between the witches and wolves.

"Technically, you're the one trespassing on our territory." Silas raised a hand, casually silencing his friend, though the arrogant smirk on his lips never faded. "I told you what would happen if you let your pride get the better of you, Freya. You spit in my face backstage, threw my ring at me, and walked out. This is what the real world looks like when you don't have a Ravenscroft protecting you." He stepped closer, his hand reaching out to catch a strand of my wild hair. I violently snapped my head back, avoiding his touch, my eyes burning with pure hatred.

The tears built up within her again and she couldn’t hold back this time. “I want to be alone, Ronan. Let me be.” She murmured. Rising to her feet, Freya stepped out of the chamber, shifted into her wolf form, and ran as fast as her legs could carry her toward the woods. Her life had taken a different turn and there are chances she might never get the good old days back.

"You deserve that and so much more." I nod my head, appreciating her words but still cautious. "What about you?" I ask, tilting my head. "You said you rebuilt your life. What does that look like?" Freya leans back, her gaze distant as she gathers her thoughts. "For a long time, I just wandered, searching for my place in the world again. I tried joining a couple of packs, hoping to find belonging, but nothing ever felt right. Eventually, I realized I needed something different. So, I started my own pack. We’re not like most others, we don’t have a specific territory or pack grounds. We love the freedom of the open road, traveling from place to place. There’s something liberating about it... l

A dream that I would rather die in than wake up to the cruel world I had been introduced to. I repeated my outfit and went downstairs to meet with Racheal. “I didn’t quite get your name,” My head spun to her of their own accord and stared at her questionably. She shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t want to have to crack my head up cooking up on how I should address you,” she said plainly. Sly indeed. Since I wanted to play the fool’s game with her. I smiled and muttered, “I’m Freya.” “That’s a lovely name. I like it.” I held back the urge to bite. As if she didn’t like it I would cry to Artemis. Her thoughts were not viable to me.
