Arthur chuckled. “Oh, I'm just doing what any friend would do.”
“It's more than that,” I insisted. “You're selfless and kind. Not everyone would take the time to care for someone like you did for me.”
He glanced at me, a hint of a blush on his cheeks. “Well, I care about you, Iris. You're special.”
