Quite cryptic if you asked me. The brittle pages rustled as I continued to flip through; “Long ago, there was a battle that raged on between demons,” my brows knitted in confusion as I closed the book and read the back cover just in case, why was I reading about demons? The book had a wolf picture in front, imposing and strong looking, how come it talked about demons instead? Placing the book back on the shelf as it wasn't the one I was looking for when I stopped midway, I thought maybe to give the book another chance, it was just a feeling though.

Hey Loveliess!!! I'm so excited, we're back for a second book!. For those of you just finding this book, it's alright, you can read it as a standalone. For the returning readers, I have something special for you. A prologue is set before the beginning of this book. I would have posted it as a regular chapter, buttt, some beta readers did mention they found it confusing. So, I'll just drop it here for those of you who understand!

Without hesitation, I opened the book to the first page. The pafes were filled with elegent handwritings, seemingly written. As I leaf through the pages, o realized that it's not just any ordinary book and it made me wonder because it looked so weird. There was absolutely no picture at the front, neither was there a name that identified the author who wrote the book. Was this the book we were searching for? Why was it in Cassandra's room? Had she been pretending all along that this book was yet to be found? I felt a breeze coming from no where as I looked into the book, till I opened a page and saw a note inside. I took it and opened it. 'If anybody sees this book except the one who is chose

The book cover was made of thick leather with parchment pages tightly bound together with twine. With trembling hands, Anna opened the cover and began reading the first page, and the next, and the next. She was astonished to see the text was word-for-word the exact same as the manuscript her publishing company was about to release in a few days, plus several thousand years in the future.

Johnathan asked him. “It’s back at camp. I can go get it.” Owen said. “No, you won’t be able to get out. Spelled. You are just as stuck in here as I am. Describe the book to me.” Johnathan said. “It looked ancient, and it was bound in leather. The pages were charred and there was some kind of beast on the front cover with the words carpe tenebras.” Owen said.

Alpha Greyson and I didn't get off to a good start, so I'll make sure everything works out in the end. The title of the book was the first thing that caught my attention when I opened it. The Sacred List of North Pack. I'm not sure why I'm so nervous when I open the book. The book's vintage was clear because practically every page was torn open, so I was cautious. The names of renowned people who became the Alpha of the North Pack are included on each page.

What the hell? A bound book with the word Ledger embossed in gold on the front lay on the bottom. It called her name and she couldn't stand it any longer. She picked up the ledger, leaned back in her chair, and read the first line on page one. She gasped and did a double take. Her stomach clenched, her heartbeat erratic. This can't be good.

It was like a whisper in my ear, telling me to keep the book close and not to let it out of my sight. I paused, staring at the book in my hand. It was old and worn, with frayed edges and yellowed pages. There was nothing particularly remarkable about it, yet I couldn't bring myself to let go. I turned it over in my hands, feeling the weight of it, and studying the faded cover. It was then that I noticed the strange symbol etched onto the front, a symbol that seemed to pulse with something, energy.

I noticed there were some golden pages at the beginning of the book since I was looking at it for the first time. As I opened the cover, my eyes were drawn to the first page. My curiosity was piqued by its title. [1789 Fruits] Although the title is relatively unattractive, I found it interesting. Why? My head swelled with information as soon as I read the title. It was like a tsunami of information. Urghh! My head shook as I dropped the book, and then the information stopped immediately. Shame. Despite the fact that it wasn't that severe, I reacted violently to the pain because it had come on so suddenly.

I said quietly. I picked up the book and just stared at the front page. Maybe I should give it up now.
