Reaper's Hollow

Reaper's Hollow

“I know Nat wants to kill you himself, but since he’s a little tied up right now, I guess I’ll have to do it for him.” Shaking her head, Ru raised her hands. Blood dripped down her arm to her elbow, but that didn’t stop her. Ru shot out a steady stream of blue light with her left hand, waiting for Raven to counter, which she did with both hands, leaving her open to attack as Ru brought up her right hand, hitting her in her injured leg. Raven let out a shriek, which sounded like the caw of the bird she was named for, and crumpled to the ground, clutching at her leg. This made Ru’s power even more overwhelming now that the Reaper only had one hand to contend with.

CHAOS

CHAOS

“This is not your average fairytale she said, her hands reaching behind her back and touching something cold. As she did a gold band wrapped around their interlocked hands. A dark smoke engulfed their feet traveling up their bodies and changing their outfits to a black ninja like outfit with a black hood over their heads. The guards pulled their swords and Trix used a throwing star to slice the bottle open, releasing a cloud of smoke that spread throughout the large room in seconds. The ground shook and the scent of smoke followed by a warm air followed. Trix pulled out her dagger which glowed through the smoke. Tristan clenched his fist and watched fascinated as a 6ft shield appeared from t

A Banished Alpha

A Banished Alpha

He had brown eyes and reminded me of a bear with those broad shoulders "you're the new girl from last night - Helena?" "That's me!" /Chirpiness overload/ Fyre warned "Look I just want to go for a run to freshen my head...I'm not going to anything stupid and Bella said one of you would be nice enough to let me know the safe zone I can run within?" This time the other Beta spoke, he had red hair like a fox and sparkling green eyes, "bit early for all that but you can follow the fencing round the estate be about a five k lap I reckon. That do you? There's Betas posted at the perimeter anyway so whatever," shrugging and looking towards the horizon again.

Loved this book! I know I am kind of reading them backwards. I started with Betas Prize and Lunas Assassin then realized they were part of a series and began to read this one. I have not yet read an Alle book I didn’t get sucked into. Helena’s & Alexander’s story is exciting, beautiful and intense

Read this after finishing part three (the betas prize) of the series. This book gives a different view on some of the characters. Good to know how they start and how they got to where they are. The author is strong in story lines and characters. Definitely worth the read!

A Knight's Promise

A Knight's Promise

While Banshee, Astaroth's firstborn daughter and the leader of the Grey Blades rebuilt the city's defenses while her Father focused on the offensive. Reports were coming in as more and more High Glaives were coming to Ren'veil as they answered the call of their progenitor and clan masters. Kent on the other hand stayed with his ladies until they recovered as days went by their condition was slowly getting worse as a strange black substance was circulating inside their bodies.

Shadow Hunter

Shadow Hunter

The same strength sucking world she’d insisted on walking one last time before the boys got back. I looked down at her, eyes closed, teeth clenched, struggling to hang on. I balanced her silver ring, a gift from our Mother, on my knee and pulled my grey sleeve over my finger tips, dabbing at the beading sweat on her forehead. Something was happening in the Blacklands and for the first time in memory, Shades were crossing the Southern boundry in droves, bringing with them their violet sky and starless nights. They didn’t eat, they didn’t sleep, they didn’t stop. They just kept coming, pushing us back and taking our land, leaving a sea of dead bodies in their wake.

FROSTBITE

FROSTBITE

"Not until you understand that the man who rejected you seven years ago doesn't exist anymore. And not until you give me the chance to prove it." As Raven turned to walk away, her phone buzzed with a message from an unknown number. A video file, timestamp showing it was taken that morning. When she opened it with trembling hands, she watched footage of herself in her apartment—sleeping, unaware, completely vulnerable. Multiple camera angles. Professional equipment. The video's final frame showed a message in white text: "Come to the Cascade Mountains. Come alone. Or I'll burn every connection you've ever made. —D"

will fight for my people, I am still confused as to why I am to die in this ignorant manner. Everyone said the gods would stand for us, for we have acted in accordance to their laws; thus, we deserve sacred protection. This belief amazes me, for battles depend on the strength of men and not the gods. The gods give courage, but men fight the battle themselves. “I was counseled to take Banabella to the kingdom of Fallahi, - I mean your mother’s birthplace. I have handpicked a group of men who have been chosen to take Banabella to the village of Bo, in the kingdom of Fallahi. Don’t be surprised, my boy. Yesterday I read what was written on our wall. I saw our young men running away from Muzaga

Wolfbane

Wolfbane

All things I'd have been perfectly content never knowing. Once the strangers were completely mutilated beyond recognition, they were finally begging for death. Blake smiled more widely than I'd ever seen as he leaned closer to them, appearing almost euphoric in their misery. They confessed that they were from the Silver Moon Pack in Maine. They had formed an alliance as a promise for reinforcement in their own ongoing disputes. Luckily, Silver Moon Pack was a smaller pack and not a true threat to us. However, it wasn’t clear how many other packs may be forming alliances with the Bois Sombre Pack—it was likely they were not the only one.

FROZEN LINES

FROZEN LINES

" Think, Caleb. Crack it open." The trail markers had been covered in ice.I had been wearing my heavy red winter coat. The memory expanded, and I had heard deep cursing from the bushes. The wind was blowing hard, and Eliot twisted his ankle on the trail. “Your hands are freezing,” Eliot had whispered. “Then warm them up,” I had muttered. It wasn't a polite request. It was a challenge. A dare. I was Caleb Foster. I didn't lose games, and I didn't back down from things I wanted. And looking at him right then, flushed and shivering in my passenger seat, I wanted him.

Shadow Pact

she whispered breathlessly, her eyes tearful. "Not exactly," Paoli disagreed. He held his hands out to ward her off when she stepped forward like she wanted to hug him. "Sorry. Cross," he reminded. "Oh, I'm sorry!" Emily cried. She quickly stepped back. Then a frown crossed her face when his words sank in. "What do you mean 'not exactly'?" she asked. "Wolfbane won't cure lycanthropy. All it does is stops the wolf from being able to take over the body. All the rage is still there, but now it has no outlet," he explained.
