The Blood Moon Ascendance
The physician's eyes widened in terror as he realized the gravity of his situation, but before he could utter another word, I pressed the cold steel against his throat.
"Listen carefully," I hissed, my voice low and menacing. "I am feeling benevolent today. You have until the next full moon to find a cure for the corruption. Fail to do so, and both you and your family can forget seeing the next full moon. Am I understood?"
The physician nodded frantically, his breath coming in short, ragged gasps. "Yes, Alpha Hazel," he choked out, his voice barely above a whisper. "We will do everything in our power to find a cure."
