Jack steered the pod past, picking up speed as he went. A huge ship appeared in front of them. Darts came and went. Jack pushed by, dipping underneath away from their turrets. More large ships appeared and finally one of theirs. The little pods looked like grapes on the side of the ship. The ship sent missiles out. Jack pushed the pod faster. He wasn't about to get caught in an explosion.

The car stopped closer to the port, where the arrival and departure of ships take place. Some ships were cast off, some were readied to be overboard, and some were berthed. We all walked closer to a ship that was ready for its departure. This ship was massive and intimidating compared to other ships. It looked dark and mysterious, just like my boss. It was beautiful but not luxurious. I could see some thugs dragging few men into the ship. Their victims' hands and mouths were tied. There were more animals off to the side in cages that I could hear. Sounded like a lion or cheetah.

"Impossible. It's like having soup and dropping a piece of chicken gizzard into the soup—I might spend half an hour fishing it out and still end up unable to get it. Now think about this, a pot of soup is only so big, and you still can't fish something out from the bottom. How could their family hope to locate a single ship in the vast ocean?
