“Let me introduce you to King Alaric Anjou the Third. The King of all humans, werewolves, and magical creatures alike.” I nodded slowly, tracing the lines of the drawing. He looked so much like Lucien it made my skin crawl. “So he’s of French stock, too?” I asked, trying to keep my voice casual while admiring the picture. “Is that all you have to say?” Vivienne asked, her tone dripping with disappointment. “What did you want me to say?” I shot back. “I don't know—show that you're impressed! I just found out that the entity inside of you slept with the Lycan King himself. I cracked the code, Seraphina!” She threw her hands up in the air as if she had just won a marathon.

Their hands were busy, mending clothes, preparing herbs, peeling fruit, but their eyes lit up the moment they saw me. “Luna Serena,” one of them greeted warmly, dipping her head. I smiled, easing into the chair Alina pulled out for me. “Just Serena tonight. What are we working on?” Alina laughed softly, passing me a small basket of herbs. “You’re just in time. The warriors have eaten half our stores, and someone has to help me keep them alive through the winter.” I chuckled and began sorting leaves as instructed. The simple rhythm of it was oddly comforting, the quiet chatter, the crackle of the fire, the familiarity of hands working side by side.

Silver-black fur. She leaps toward the exit but without wasting much time I intercept her in full shift and we collide violently. That even stones explodes beneath our impact. For the next couple of minutes she fights savagely, claws slicing my shoulder. But something about her perfume feels familiar. But to my shock, recognition sparks as she twists beneath me and her eyes meet mine. And she smiles just when it does. But I myself, I freeze seeing who’s in front me. Elara. “You?” I say slamming her into the ground hard enough to crack rock and she laughs despite blood coating her lips.

They were symptoms of her slowly draining my essence, my Alpha power, my very soul. My wolf, Hud, had been deceived. The mate bond we felt wasn't real—it was a carefully crafted illusion, a spell designed to make us believe she was our destined partner. Healer Odin had been right all along. She didn’t have a wolf in her because she was something else entirely, something that preyed on our kind. I must have made some sound of distress because Serena turned suddenly, her eyes meeting mine across the room. For a split second, her eyes glowed before it returned to her natural color.

It seems more genuine than the other people. "By the way, I'm Samuel. Alpha of the Blue Moon pack." He forwards his hand for a handshake and I gradually accept it. "I'm Aurora. Nice meeting you Alpha Samuel." I say with a genuine smile. I don't know why I'm so smiling. "Ohh, my my. So you are the Luna Aurora. I have heard a lot about you. Finally, I get the chance to meet you." He says with his charming smile. His compliment makes me smile back or maybe it's just him who has such charm that never fails to bring a smile to my lips.

An eerie, malevolent laughter filled the air as a figure emerged from the shadows. Alaric, a formidable werewolf with fur as black as the night, stood at the edge of the clearing, his eyes blazing with an unholy fire. "We shall see," he sneered. "I will crush their love and claim the Celestial Relic for myself." Without warning, Alaric lunged towards Luna and Elias, his speed unmatched. Luna barely had time to react, summoning a shield of light to protect herself and Elias. But Alaric was relentless, his claws tearing through the protective barrier.

Archer whispers as the official continued to speak, but in that moment, a rush of sparks, an ice-cold blast feeling and such greater power than I ever have felt rushed from my hand and down throughout my body, in such great waves my entire body began to tingle. “Now the blood bond pact has concluded, Miss Fern Hewitt is now forever tied to Alpha Archer and this pack and has gained her new title, Luna Fern of The Dark Warrior Pack.” The official cheers as the ribbon is taken from our hands and an enormous earth rubbing applause began to erupt from the crowd.

I held her back and continued throwing lunches. The rest of them came unto me and I pushed them off me. They were a bit scared of fighting back because of what I was doing to the one under me. I continued to throw punches and digging my claws into Lorna’s skin, my alter ego wanted to kill her so bad. “Know who you talk to, I am not your little puppet and neither is she!” I yelled angrily and a lot of the other warriors ran towards the unfolding scene. I looked behind me and I saw Alisha move to touch Azura, Azura moved back warily and the fear in her eyes vexed me.

I said reasuringly slowly grabbing Dáinn's hand bringing him forward. Slowly I grab Emma's hand doing the same motion and she looks at him a feeling of nervousness filling the air before she takes a deep breath taking his hand in hers causing him to smile at her genuinely as she pulled him closer giving him a little hug before looking at the other guys expectantly causing me to laugh. Alaric stands off to the side not looking very welcoming but Finn takes a step forward and while doing so he changes his form. His hair turned a light pink his eyes following in suit, small fangs poking through as he smiles brightly his eyes crinkling up as he does so.
