Lioran's POV “Ahh damn… give it to me harder, Alpha…” Ruby let out a soft sound, gripping the edge of the bed as she felt the intensity building from behind. This time, I wasn't in the right headspace; my thoughts were still in turmoil. My pride was slowly being chipped away, piece by piece. If the moon goddess intends to toy with my fate, she could have simply given me a heads-up. “Lior…” Ruby let out a piercing scream as I lunged at her, my blood surging with intensity. The wolf inside me roamed restlessly… It scratches at the edges of my consciousness, yearning to emerge completely.

"You see, my dear, I've been looking for a way to rescue my brothers from the underworld for centuries. And you, with your... special abilities, are the key to making that a reality." Scarlett's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?” I grinned, my fangs shimmering in the low light. "Come on, Scarlett. Don’t act innocent. You know what I mean. The prophecy. The ritual. The sacrifice." Scarlett's complexion drained, and for a brief moment, I thought she might collapse. But then, a fierce resolve ignited in her eyes, and she lunged at me. "You won't get away with this," she shouted, her fists swinging.

It reminded me of the flames licking the walls of a house as she slowly stepped closer not to me though, but to him. It was red- Scarlett red. Fire burned so brightly, a fire that threatened to consume me.But I needed that fire the consume him instead, I wanted to watch him burn, watch him scream for my help while I stood a few minutes away from him with the most triumphant smile I could and it would have been the best day ever. I would have replayed it until I couldn't anymore.

I stated. "I'll get what you need to write them as well as two warriors to deliver it to the pack," he suggested. In a few minutes, Arnold came back with an envelope, a pen and our pack seal. Then he went back out to get the warriors. I took my seat by Rainbow's work table and began to compose the letter. "My future Luna has been poisoned by a Hybrid. I hear that you have faced something similar and might have the cure to save her. Please, help save my Luna," I concluded and signed before tucking the letter into the envelope and using my seal to lock it away.

I asked the question that has been bothering my mind because ever since our meeting she doesn't cease to amuse me with her crazy words "I am the gamma of this pack and the number three in command… you are only still our Alpha's mate. You can only be our Luna when the matching ceremony has been done… so currently, one mistake from you will regret it." With this, she left as the warriors also marched along with her. What is the name of hell have I gotten myself into? I asked no one in particular. LUCAS Scarlett escaping from her pack was the last thing I expected her to do, she was a Luna that loved and cherished her pack so much.

Laylin softly breathed out a sigh at his flaring temper. She closed her eyes in silent, her heart drumming in her chest. “Scarlet was the daughter of a Rakhbar Princess and Sansy so it made her the perfect medium: the blood of both, Red Witch and White Wolf. You said the Old Mistress sees the future, did she see it?”

Scarlet picked up a scrap piece of cloth that Mitch had given her and she tightly wrapped it around my hand. “Scarlet, today marks a new beginning for you. Please allow your blood to spill into the chalice, accepting this fate.” Councilman Mitch yelled out.

He wobbled unsteadily but forced himself forward until he stood before me. "Are you…" His voice shook, tiny fists clutching his torn shirt. "Are you the Luna?" Although Lucien stood behind me, ready to catch me if I fell, I stood tall and bent my knees slightly to meet his eyes. "Yes," I said softly, offering a gentle smile. "I'm Scarlett, the Luna of the Nightshade Pack. What brings you all the way here to see me?" Tears welled up in his eyes and then overflowed as he flung himself into my arms. The sudden movement sent a pang through my sore body, but I held him tightly, cradling his small frame, while Lucien supported my back as if to prevent me from falling.

He quickly scurried his way out of the living room, giving privacy to the Alpha and his Luna. Lucian noticed the change in Scarlett's eyes and realized it's her wolf who is doing all this.His wolf jumped in excitement at his mate's action but Lucian knew well.Scarlett leaned closer while tracing her fingers on his chest then down to his abs.He swear his heart could literally explode at the proximity, at her touch and her hot breath that touched his lips.The girl is giving him pure torture.

"Scout the area for any possible clue about those rogue Wolves. Get back to the Pack. I will meet you all there!" "Where are you going Alpha?" Only Beck could question Ryan like that and get away. "To the Scarlet Pack. Now begone!" He darted off with the lady in her arms, vanishing within seconds. The boys at the back went "Aweeee! Yeeeeeaah!" Cheering their Alpha like he was in some race. "I thought the Eastern fringes of these lands was inhabited only by the royalties amongst the Scarlets and Moors! ' He asked as he neared an enclosed perimeter. "That's right! I am the daughter of Alpha Shell from the Scarlet Pack and my mother is a Moors princess!"
