The Kitsune had black on its ears and tail as if it had been dipped in black paint. A little black heart was under its right eye.

Lyra stumbled against me but she didn't fight it, she trusted the reaction and that meant enough had happened this past weeks for her to realize that I wasn't joking. I wonder if the strands of white are meant to complement our fur.
